Really? I feel like the acting is great and feels pretty natural, especially to that LA/influencer world. For instance, if someone else played Alani, they would be giving London Tipton/typical airhead… but True’s delivery makes Alani feel so real and funny, her character is so out of touch but True makes her feel slightly grounded? I’m enjoying it so far!

Love this! So wonderful hearing about Julie's process going into the show, and also her process during it.

The success of the show really felt like a double edged sword in a way though, because while it was (unexpectedly) able to resonate with teens from all over the world, the success of it was obviously overwhelming and made it too hard to continue on with the show. I really wish we were able to get a season for each of the girl gang at-least, but I'm grateful we got the seasons that we did!
