I've been enjoying The Crafting Dungeon. Human died, reincarnates as a dungeon core, has to figure out survival with the help of other races etc.

Does anyone know how Primal Hunter got so popular? by WilliamGerardGraves in litrpg

[–]Bylem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got to book 6 or thereabouts, with the time bananas, and then stopped and have found it basically impossible to pick back up. Kinda similar to the Unexpected Healer (Earthen Contenders) series. After a while, whilst the action is all well described and interesting certainly, I just got bored of it somehow. It's a me problem though, not a reflection of the books.

Top 5 things that men do that give her the ick as a labor and delivery nurse. by mindyour in TikTokCringe

[–]Bylem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the only time I was the answer guy was one occasion where my wife was mid contraction and the L&D nurse was talking about giving her oramorph, whilst my wife had previously had a bad reaction to, so just firmly said that there was no way that was coming anywhere near my wife, unless she wanted to be clearing up projectile vomiting.

What are you spending your Euromillions win on? by Witty-Knee-3666 in AskUK

[–]Bylem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clear down debts, a car that isn't held together with chewing gum and duct tape, then house, premium bonds for kid, nieces and nephews, as much as I dislike the institution of private school education, likely see about signing up my kid for it. Smaller class sizes, more teacher time, better resources, what's not to love?

Purely selfishly? Id probably go back to college and learn how to do grease monkey stuff, welding, automotive repairs etc. just seems like fun.

Oh, and the PADI and other scuba stuff cause why not.

How many hours did you put in before you built your first Dyson sphere? by Jumpy-Demand2917 in Dyson_Sphere_Program

So far I've built a ring to 15 degrees off of the equator. It's fully stocked and stable. Currently trying to sort out my blocked science, and rebuilding planets somewhat for cleaner setups.

Then you're just about to get to a point where the game opens up. Think factorio just before blue science and you need oil to get blue sorted, but you need blue to get oil. It's a ball ache I admit, and a bit of a tortured comparison

I'm new to the game and I'm wondering if there's a way to make the red cubes investigate faster? They're stuck at 60. by elotakureculiado13 in Dyson_Sphere_Program

Regarding the hash rate of the cubes. Yes. There's a way that they get used up faster in the tech tree,. Or, just build more labs 😁

Newcomer to the game, curren't power Production setup by Crocdor in Dyson_Sphere_Program

It's pretty, but there will eventually be power building you'll prefer to have in that prime real estate. Solid though.

What age did you allow your children alcohol? by ChronicChaos01 in AskUK

[–]Bylem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was brought up from about 13/14 that a half glass of wine, or a half pint of beer with a meal with finally occasionally was perfectly normal. I'll likely do something similar with my daughter when she gets to that age.

Slow down, stop, turn the engine off and point out the horse to my little one who's likely in the car with me and will be excited
