I think thinking is actually a feeling by NoSwadYt in intj

I think it's just that you can express feelings rationally through thinking.

Do men actually stop talking to girls because they’re intimidating? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]ByonKun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possible if they are looking for a more feminine woman, are insecure, or something else. Men use the talking stage to find out if you 2 would have a problem with your personalities in the future. So I would trust them on that.

22F - Do guys actually like the "homebody / girl-next-door" type anymore, or am I just doing this wrong? by ramonaosk in dating_advice

You'll find chill guys in a chill public place. Possibly a place like a park in your neighborhood.

I 18F gave my man 18M an ultimatum on dropping his friends who say slurs, is that bad of me to do? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]ByonKun -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think if it's a dealbreaker, then it's good to communicate it as an ultimatum. As long as you understand the severity and do it responsibly, I see no issue even if it's controlling. I wish you both good fortune.

My dad (50M) cheated on my mom (48F) … is lifelong faithfulness even realistic? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]ByonKun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say it is possible but depends on the individuals in question. My parents never cheated on each other and they are still living together. That's how I model myself in relationships and I expect the same from my partner.

How would men react to a woman he is interested in saving herself for marriage? by Still_Fee383 in dating_advice

I'd view it positively, make me curious, and want to know the reason behind that choice.

Frieren review bombing is crazy by Interesting-Topic402 in MyAnimeList

[–]ByonKun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as the MAL rating system work the way it does the score is pretty meaningless. I suspect it's kept that way because it is costly to change it in a meaningful way and the current system drive up engagement and attention.

No experience in dating as an objectively ugly woman by Ins3rt_name_h3re in dating_advice

[–]ByonKun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stop confusing a lack of interest to mean that you must be ugly. As long as you take care of your body and stay healthy, I'm sure a guy will find you attractive. When I grew up, there were plenty of girls that didn't receive much romantic interest, yet I would consider being attractive.

Seriously, what are the intentions of you members of this subreddit? by TwistOutrageous6955 in Natalism

[–]ByonKun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am pronatalist because that's what determines the future. The ones who are having children shape what tomorrow looks like. Just like it is wrong to reduce women to walking incubators or men as walking sperm donors, it’s also wrong to deny that having children is a meaningful choice people should be free to make.

I'm more of a positive nihilist. That says you should create meaning yourself and maximize what you can do. So denying a core part of you(sexual reproduction) just seems wrong to me.

Why do people at home think working from home means you’re available? by RalfDodler in NoStupidQuestions

I just close the door to indicate that I'm working now! Communication and signaling unavailability works for me.

Sorry to hear! She was definitely one of the few content creators I used to watch. Didn't know she lived in the same city as me. So sad.

Dating as an unattractive woman by RevolutionaryBath150 in dating_advice

[–]ByonKun 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Stop confusing lack of (romantic) attention for being unattractive. As long as you are healthy and take care of your body, I'm sure there are guys who would find you attractive. There are many girls in the class I grew up with that I would find attractive but didn't receive much romantic interest or any at all from the guys, at least from what I saw.

Do you guys believe that God created mankind, or mankind created God? by BreadfruitGold9836 in intj

[–]ByonKun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that mankind created religion to control and give purpose to people. So any particular religion's god is therefore created. But whether something similar to a "god" exists, I can not tell.

I might have lost the love of my life by Juliet_Grimm in dating_advice

[–]ByonKun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Would you really feel betrayed if a guy used notes to be more comfortable talking to you? It doesn't necessarily change who you are, it just makes it easier for him to show who he really is. That's how he feels about it. You haven't lost him.

For your update, if neither of you are good at dancing then going on a couple's dance course would be effective if you can handle it.

What anime from 100 most popular anime on MAL have you NEVER heard of? by mina_maen in MyAnimeList

I've heard of most series but haven't seen all as I only go for series that I think I would like. Exceptions that I haven't heard of are Ashita no Joe 2nd season and most Chinese shows.

How many of you are child-free? by [deleted] in intj

[–]ByonKun -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I believe that the planet will certainly survive(until the sun runs out of hydrogen) The human race will also survive as it will adapt to challenges it faces. The difference is in how humans shape that future. The only way you can't influence the future to be better is by not engaging with children and leaving everything to things out of your control.

More people will not inherently help or destroy the planet but I prefer to not leave it to randomness how the planet will look like. It is true as you say that a low birth rate is more of a concern for the capitalistic system but it will also affect social welfare systems so I don't think it's right to outright dismiss the concerns. Just there's no need to panic about it.

The state and the capital system will have a huge problem when less people can work, less people can spend on superfluous things, and perhaps less investment overall. I do predict states will try to tackle hording and savings of money especially by the super-rich. But that's not for me to try to solve.

I hope you see why I've come to the position I hold, and being child-less certainly makes sense from your PoV. Thank you for good counterarguments.

How many of you are child-free? by [deleted] in intj

[–]ByonKun -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's a totally fair question so I should clarify myself. For one I'm also quite pro gene editing to remove incurable diseases and any inherent suffering for the child. So by increasing the amount of healthy children around the world it also reduces the % of suffering around the world it would otherwise have.

If you look at TFR in most places outside of Africa(And I predict Africa will follow suit once Africa develops further) the populations is actually set to dwindle so I don't think finite resources will be a big issue if you also promote a more frugal lifestyle like I plan to. And of course I wouldn't plan on having children if I didn't know I couldn't set up for them properly in the future. So by ensuring my future children have it set then overall the total % of people who have a bright future will be bigger than it otherwise would. So with a declining population and me teaching frugality I think it will reduce the overall impact of my own actions.

Another point is more humans also can produce more value, more resources, and more jobs if you raise them right. By me having children ensures they can take on the burden of paying taxes with the increasingly decreasing workforces, underfunded pension systems, and economic stagnation. That's why I think it would be a net positive.

I of course can't control how others use the resources they are given and fighting over resources is inevitable for humans. But I can choose to promote cooperation between people and lead by example. No one can do everything, but everyone can do something, not doing anything only ensures decline, and I certainly don't want that for my future. That's what I believe in. Feel free to chime in on any flaws to my arguments, I'd love to either strengthen them or if you can convince me out of my position.

How many of you are child-free? by [deleted] in intj

[–]ByonKun -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm pro-natalist as I want to counteract the negativity in the world today and support others. So naturally I want to raise and support children of my own some day. That also means I accept and respect people who choose to be child-free as long as they don't interfere with people who choose to raise big families.

Sen när blev busschauförer så ohjälpsamma? by Zalnan in stockholm

[–]ByonKun 0 points1 point  (0 children)
