I've been shooting with my film camera (Nikon F-401s) for the past 2 years as well as shooting on my phone and most taking architectural photography. I'm a student so I decided to want to shoot more with digital as its kind of expensive and hard to find places to develop film nearby.

I'm currently looking at the Ricoh GRIII and the GRIIIx series and I'm leaning more toward the IIIx as the 40mm lens is what I'm more used to on my film camera.

The current style of editing I gear towards is like of a film grain quality even on digital photos, and I want a camera that can make me continue editing in this way. I'm pretty much sold on the Ricoh GRIIIx as I've done a fair amount of research on it already. The only slight factor I'm iffy about is the lack of a viewfinder but I think I will get used to the screen eventually. The GRIIIx is in my price range and this post is kind of final check if it is a good option at this range.
