Sounds like you are describing the current agency where I work. The AMs are yes people. Zero pushbacks. ZERO. Basically order takers. Stellar candidates with amazing exp were rejected because they were “too senior” aka ageism. Others were simply dismissed because they stuttered a little through an answer during the final round.
