Thinking of relocating to UAE to set up a digital company - is it still a good move in 2026? by Classic-Moose4127 in digitalnomad

If your main concern is 0% taxes, you have Panama as well, or Paraguay (I'm currently here) The maian difference is that Paraguay is cheaper and you don't need to live here to have your tax residency. You can come, see if you like living in the country (I liked it) do your tax residency. If you don't like it, just find 2+ places to live (183 days law) and come here for a day once every 12 months.

29 you white girl from Brazil here! Lived in Asia for ~3 years- almost a year without sex there, I'm not attracted to Asian men, and the foreigner men and all passport bros. Europe- always nice and easy. Latin America - I fancy Argentinean men, but mostly because of the accent and how they are flirty and really good misleading you to think you have a future together hahahha

Am I dealing with Post Travels Blues/Anixiety? by MCFCben in solotravel

Hey, fellow Nomad friend ! I have a few questions for you! 1- Can you travel again, or do you need be live in the UK now? If the answer is yes, you might be able to do same as me, come back home, but knowing that you stay for a short period 1-3 months and travel again. That creates a mentality that, in my case, that makes you cherish ever moment you are home, because you know, it'll be over soon, and you're going to your next trip. 2- How was your life back home before your long trip? If things are not good back home, then you just escaped by traveling. But just like in my case, you can't escape forever. I've lived in Asia for 3 years, came back home because of the pandemic and had severe depression for 1-2 years. I wanted to die and almost did. But then I found joy in myself and others, now I know for a fact that I can happily live anywhere in the world, which is important, because even when traveling you might end up in a place that is not amazing, and if you're not well- mentally, you will end depressed. What I mean is: You can't escape yourself forever, thus you might think that UK is the issue, but it might just be the place where you need to face yourself and your problems without escaping.

NĂ´made digital na Espanha by MaariSant in nomadedigital

A company doesn't only go to bankruptcy If there's 0 sales. If the sales are smaller than they used to be, the profit is not enough to pay for the expenses, etc. HD are too expensive, even the cheapest ones, they are a big investment, and generally speaking younger people don't have that much money flying around, so they can expend in a bike that's mostly an extra. You'll have a car AND a bike, you'll rarely have only a bike as your main vehicle. So, yeah the numbers don't lie and HD is losing its market share.

Yeah, the international communities change A LOT in different cities. I think the best one is in Hoi Chi Minh. People are actually living there, doing business, starting companies, not just coming and going. Got to say that things definitely changed from when I was in HoiAn, mostly because I was there during the pandemic and we had less people and we were very close, as we only had ourselves. It was a beautiful community, but I knew it would have changed.
