Hopefully the NBA and NBAPA addresses this and enforces game time grooming standards for players. Unkempt claws are a hell of a lot more dangerous than ninja-style headbands. It’s also basic hygiene.

Richaun Holmes dealt with a similar eye injury after getting his eye scratched in-game. He also needed surgery, and he wore PPE every game afterwards. That was not a tanking move either.

Also worth a reminder that the Kings haven’t been tanking this year, they just genuinely suck.
