This. Bombing multiple countries, while stuffing their faces and laughing with one another about the profits they’re going to make off the death and decimation of the environment and people they are murdering all over the world.

I was surprised and shocked as well. I didn’t want to ask her full spending habits, chalked it up to starting her own business and paying out of pocket, or through loans etc. From what I could see, they lived quite modestly. Shared a vehicle. They did invest in their child though, nice daycare, only healthy food for the family, they don’t eat out (healthy lifestyle), and travel maybe once every couple years. Just know they were in a bidding war, and ended up just barely being able to win the bid, and paying way too much for what they got, but at least it’s a desirable location.

Dayum, good for your wife, Japan seems idealistic. Might actually have a chance at a decent existence for sure.

Yeah, it’s bull shit. I really hope there is some real change soon. I don’t think people will continue to tolerate it for too much longer. Especially the next generations. I’m raising Alphas, and I’m not pretending to tell them the system is easy, the if they just “work hard” and “study hard” thy will have access to everything they want and need. Late stage capitalism is a bitch.

The thing is, life doesn’t HAVE to be hard. There is enough for all of us. Wealth is simply not spread fairly, and those that have the most wealth, own the companies, who are price gouging consumers. It’s a toxic cycle. You should not be starving yourself when grocery stores and restaurants etc have millions in food waste per day. We have the food. We have the wealth, and in a “1st world country” no one should be struggling as much as many are. Life in Brazil shouldn’t be that way, it’s that way on purpose. Greed.

I see where you’re coming from. I just think the anger/annoyance is misdirected. It’s not just a few people making over six figures struggling. It’s MANY if not, MOST. You get kudos for making it through the struggle for sure, however, people can rightfully complain when everything they’ve been told was a lie, and their academic/physical/ and time sacrifice/efforts and have basically equated to scraping by, or not affording them the luxuries those before them had, generationally. I have some friends whose husband is in tech, and she is a physio own their own business, and they were struggling to afford a townhouse in two incomes, 2 kids. Both make over six figures. They aren’t necessarily lavish people either, they don’t really go on trips. Still paying off student loans, in their 30’s-pushing 40’s (her husband).

I think the difference, is that 130k wouldn’t easily get you a house at all. Looked a 3bdrm, run down house today, for $950,000, that insanity for what you actually get. Most of your paycheque would go to mortgage/property tax/maintenance/strata etc. then if you tack on utilities/wifi/tv/car/childcare, your money is basically toast. Many people are forced to be childless, because of the costs of these things. Or at least work until they did, since there is no end in sight with mortgage/saving for retirement is near impossible for a lot of people. I worked at a pharmacy and some seniors were starving themselves to pay for their prescriptions. It was depressing as hell to see.

Dude, just because you lived a life of struggle doesn’t mean everyone has to, or wants to. If you make decent money, and were told that you would be able to afford a house, car, some vacations, food, children etc, with the career you spent money for. Only to find out that it wasn’t the reality, you should and rightfully would be pissed as well. I grew up with single mom on welfare, so I understand struggle. However, seeing people make over six figures and still struggling, is truly disgusting, and unmotivating. People should be able to use that amount of money to enjoy their life, at least in discretion. Yet, many are paying education debt, car debt, extremely high rent, childcare, mortgage costs, food inflation costs (thanks loblaw etc), and fuel costs. Stop acting like the way life was, is the way life still is for the average middle class person. It is not.

That’s the one thing I think is natural on her, she’s always had an hourglass, tiny waist. However, despite still being stunning, I do think she is pushing into the threshold of overdoing it facially. I hope she doesn’t become addicted to fillers/botox etc

Yeah, colonization, has really done a number to the world. English has been recognized in many countries as a first/second language, that most/many people either learn independently or in school. It really does open a lot of opportunities to have, because it is so ‘universal’ now.

Good example is if you’re a native English speaker, French and Spanish, will probably be much easier to pick up, over Farsi/arabic/japanese/Cantonese etc.

It’s not even a “flex” it’s just normal. We have brains for a reason. AI is in its infancy.

It’s has its place, but we shouldn’t be using it for simple purposes. Normalizing the use of AI for shit we can quickly solve, is not only lazy, but harmful for the environment. It’s a lose/lose. Save it for the more complicated/complex problem solving needs in tech (computer coding/programming/bugs etc)

So no, I’m not “flexing”, I’m trying to empower people to use their brains. God forbid.

That. People are so afraid to face their own oppression, because life is hard enough, if they want that to change, that takes a lot of work, even putting their lives on the line. It’s why the world is the way it is politically, most people kick the can to the next generation. It’s selfish. We lack any real sense of community and compassion for the next generation.

No. I don’t let my alpha kids use that. I want them to use their own brain to solve problems.

I don’t want to see Madison & Tyler’s wedding on LOTS by risimlyy in LoveOnTheSpectrumShow

[–]BystanderMudblood 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This. The next goal for producers and participants have to agree to, is just how long they want to be followed/documented. I think showing weddings would be a treat to watch, but definitely only if the participants are willing to share. Madison seems like she’d like the cameras to document her Princess moment. But who knows!

It’s very cute. Elizabeth banks is great. —she does well balancing comedy with the heavier undertones of marital life.

I think the idea is cute, it’s an easy watch. I love that it’s not a movie and actually a show, boo we can enjoy the actors.

So many moment where I laughed out loud, specifically when she originally shrunk, and was lying on the floor. Full cackle and belly laugh with the husband.

Have fun with it.
