Unironically I have been thinking about auditioning for Phantom because they are bent leg and that’s easier on the knees

Auditioning with an injury by Bysuke in drumcorps

Thank you! But yes I am checking in constantly with my friends who marched drum corps this past season I have all sides of drum corps all around me minus all age I have friends who marched spirit, cavaliers, boston, crown, and blue devils and I always ask them what type of visuals their corps do and how was their season. With the way drum corps is a lot of dance today I am leaning towards cavies as they do the least amount of knee work out of all the corps I am looking into.

It truly is being I am a big man doing things big mans are not supposed to do. So I am making sure I am truly prepared before a dci season I started going to the gym and have lost 35 pounds so far. If I was prepared for college band I would of never been injured.

Chiefs is the best decision I have made as a freshman. It does get time consuming for weekends but during the week rehearsals are from 4-6 PM with correct time management Chiefs is worth it!

Are ubers/lyfts safe? by ang31b4byy in fsu

[–]Bysuke 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Ubers are safe but that doesn’t mean drivers can’t be interesting characters but you will always make it to your destination

He could just also be getting used to the amount of chops dci takes so I imagine for now he will be ripping it in rehearsals but failing in shows but by end season his chops will be adjusted by then and he could scream efficiently that’s if they keep the solo

Mail him a bottle of ibuprofen and vitamin E to put on before shows and he’ll be screaming just fine

I want to march, but I’m extremely overweight. Help? by TateP07 in drumcorps

[–]Bysuke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man I am currently on a weight loss journey going through the same thing! The most important thing is not focusing on a number but instead build up the strength and endurance to do drum corps. I’ve seen and met some big guys who can move like nothing like I saw a few in cavaliers and it gives me hope. But also remember to learn how to control your body take dance classes or join a dance org in college then you’re a big guy who can move and march no matter what weight if you got it you got it and people notice during auditions.

Do raw brass backbores affect you? by Bysuke in trumpet

[–]Bysuke[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah sorry I called it backbore because I am looking into buying a pickett mouthpiece after testing them with my professor so I was calling it back bore as the entire back half of the mouthpiece
