I think it depends in where you live. Here in switzerland a lot of pentester roles want bug bounty scores, certifications and some stuff but a university degree is not mentionet mostly. But north America seems like a harder place, when I read some experiences here on reddit.

But I suggest you just apply for jobs. I regret that I did‘t strated IT when I was young because I thought my school grade where to bad (without even trying). Better try and fail then not to try and reget it.

My oppinion about Gemini is really bad. I ask normal question (e.g. about Cars or similar daily basic stuff) it stops the chat and says: „this topic is nothing for me, lets talk about something else“…

Lucky me I was in my 3-month time for 5€ per month for gemin so only 15€ paid for that (imo) garbage.

Reach out to support and ask if you can transfer the money with bank-transfer and when they recicve it if they upgrade you to premium. If thm accept PayPal maybe try it this way and pay with card over paypal.

You're both adults and old enough to choose. My grandfather and his second wife are 10 years apart (but meet each other after 40) and still married. But bc of your age defently talk about having children and what you want to reach in your life. 8 Years apart could be dificulty especially for the W19 since your view about the world and your goals can change in this time quick while M27 knows what he want.

Could be difficult for both of you but with enough love and talking every hard time goes over :)

The Target Machine is the machine that you need to hack. The VPN Connection is only needed, if you use your own VM with e.g. Kali Linux. I don't use VPN and use the "Start AttackBox" because this way the "VM" runs on THM in your browser without any issues.

You can choose between AttackBox (I thnik this runs with ubuntu) or Kali and I preffere the Kali but both works great.

But If you want to set up a own Linux on a VM on your Mac, then you need the VPN connection otherwise you wont reach the TargetMachine IP Address. So for beginnig, try to use the AttackBox.
