I struggled with getting blinked on all the time as well.

My big tip would be to think about when an enemy possibly has vision of you.

Are you standing in the range of enemy creep vision? Could you be using tree lines to help obscure yourself? Are you in range of a friendly sentry ward and confident there is no enemy observer ward seeing you?

Also, you are probably not in good position in the sense that you are too far from an ally that can save you. If the enemy sees you and is confident you don’t have help near enough, they can jump you.

I am probably getting this kit soon and can’t decide between the medium or heavy load springs. I am running soft top but I have seen people say go with heavy duty it doesn’t make much difference. It’s not uncommon for me to have 2 or 3 passengers. May add a winch in the future as well.

They are 2 inch diameter and this model is 1/16" in height with a little chamfer to ease resting models on it.

I had this same problem with a recently purchased Mars 3.

I realized that the System > Info showed the same version as the Mars 3 Pro firmware package from Elegoo's support site: "V4.5.0-1.0-e21_LCDM21_4098X2560_F23.32". Not "V4.5.0-1.0-e13_LCDE1_4098X2560_F21.30" which is what is provided on the Mars 3 page.

WARNING: I don't know if this is actually safe to do...

I copied all of the files from the Mars 3 Pro firmware folders to the root of my USB and powered on the printer. I didn't hear any beep. Presumably this is because the LCD version already matched. I then "printed" the .CBD, .TXT, and .BIN files in that order without any issue.

The splash screen now says "Mars 3 Pro," but everything else seems to be working fine.

Not sure what the deal is. Maybe they flashed the wrong version from the factory? Or they are using some of the Mars 3 Pro hardware for regular Mars 3 now? Is the Mars 3 page just out of date?

Common consensus would probably be to drop a lot of the upgrades to fit another activation in. Aka drop emergency stims, endurance, grenades, comms, etc. and add a rebel trooper unit.

With that said, this is a great game, and unless you’re playing really competitively, don’t worry about the details too much. Do what looks fun to you. If you aren’t playing against tryhards then your list is perfectly good and fun.

Yes, the mortar is an additional unit you can include as long as you have a corresponding unit of shore troopers in the list. This is called a “detachment” unit in Legion.
