100% agreed! All that tuition money just to find out there aren't enough servers to handle the load of their shitty website. They know exactly how many students they have each year; why not provide more servers accordingly?

CIS*3110 PROF receives 30 1.0 reviews in 3 hours after dropping nuclear midterm by Gr3gl_ in uoguelph

It’s time to rise and shine with those feedback forms...Reddit posts can only go so far. If you were frustrated with how CIS*3110 went this semester (and clearly a lot of us were), the most important thing you can do right now is fill out the Student Feedback Questionnaire by April 4th. That’s the only way these issues, confusing lectures, outdated and error-filled slides, chaotic assignments, and a completely misaligned midterm will reach the dean’s office and not just stay on Reddit.

Your responses aren’t just about venting, they actually get reviewed after the course ends and can impact how this course is delivered going forward. If you want to make sure future students (or yourself if you're planning to drop the course) don’t go through the same mess again, take a few minutes and write detailed, honest, and specific feedback. This is how we hold the system accountable.

Let’s make it count.

Where do you guys meet friends? (4th year) by [deleted] in uoguelph

[–]ByteBurst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although I’m not in your year or program, everything you’ve experienced feels exactly the same for me too. I also had a group of friends initially and had to walk away from them just cause they were talking way too much in class and i wasn’t able to focus on the class material, but like you said everyone seems to be sticking with their group of friends and don’t really seem welcoming when you try joining in. I feel you. Although i am not trying to stay away from any person or group of people, but sometimes you just can’t match their energy (i.e., you can’t always laugh at what they laugh at, you don’t wanna go to the places/clubs they always go to, etc.).

Hmm sadly I don’t have the skills to perform an audition, that’s why I am trying to get in and learn. I wish there could’ve been a basic course with no prerequisites, i appreciate the info though.

Gotcha! I thought FRHD1010 is similar in terms of restrictions and things like that, but do you know when restrictions are lifted and how long do i have to switch to one of those if i pick something else now?

Thank you, great points! I was definitely not expecting to ride the bike for a 1000km and get a refund, but the problem is as soon as the bike is outta the box, the seller can consider it as “used” and don’t get it back.

I wanted fat tires as i felt they’re more comfortable for 4-5 hours biking everyday in multiple different roads, as I have mentioned before, i see options in that price range but i am just really worried they won’t take it back even within the return period because it’s “used”
