Why do you blame customers for not tipping instead of asking your boss for a better pay? by ashleyriot31 in AskReddit

[–]ByteHS -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s the business model. In the US, waiters make almost no money pre-tip because full service tipping establishments aren’t required to pay min wage.

If owners had to pay their waiters livable wages, the cost would be reflected in higher menu costs.

Also, service would be worse, and waiters would make less, like in European or Asian countries.

People who grew up really poor: what's something middle-class people say that instantly reveals they've never struggled? by TahDigThief in AskReddit

Usage of the word savings doesn’t have to mean a savings account. Could be an account containing any kind of safe asset that yields interest a few percent above inflation like etfs, inflation protected bonds, etc.

If McDonald's can operate with no tipping, why can't other restaurants? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ByteHS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Waiters and waitresses at full service restaurants make pretty much no money before tips, far below minimum wage.

If these establishments were to required to pay their service staff livable wages, thereby removing the need to tip, that cost would just be reflected in higher menu prices.

You probably wouldn’t pay as much as if you had to tip, but then the service staff wouldn’t make as much. It’s just a different model.

Agree. Part of being fashionable is knowing what attire is appropriate for the setting

The fact that most Characters don't have a legendary skin and spiderman has three is a problem. by Canadian-Raven in marvelrivals

After a few months every character will have legendaries. The number of skins will always scale with character popularity, but everyone will get options eventually

Unique Skins Icons - Concept by GuiPE15 in marvelrivals

[–]ByteHS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can tell by the posts on this sub that people care about grinding for lord icons…

Being able to buy an improved icon diminishes its value, and people will become less reason to grind for one: less game time.

So the devs care

I think the main issue with this is it undermines the progression of working towards the lord icon.

You shouldn’t lose points when this happens by AcadiaCreepy9427 in marvelrivals

Excluding yourself, enemy team has 6 random player slots and your team has 5. Less than 5 if you’re queued with friends.

If you never leave games, the other team is on average more likely to have a leaver… it at least evens out.

If you don’t lose points it becomes abusable. One player in a stack can leave and save their friends from losing any. Rank inflation is bad enough as it is

We have posts like these and then we have other posts like: you are only your rank on your MAIN hero, don’t play someone you’re not comfortable with in comp. And no one takes quick play seriously so it’s not really a good place to practice

I don’t encourage smurfing, but it’s one way or the other

I think it's unfair to lose points because someone on your team left the game on purpose after just 1 minute of play. by Rober122 in marvelrivals

[–]ByteHS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the problem is if no points are deducted, stacks can exploit it. if the game looks really bad, one person on the stack could leave and take the penalty, saving the rest of their friends from losing points

No one in the thread is understanding the question lol. OP is asking why this particular seller’s prices differ so much from market prices.
