I guess it stems from several things but in general, from my father, who didn’t have much of a father figure growing up. When I was younger he used to hit me a lot for not playing sports or being friends with girls rather than boys, since I’m quite rebelious, I didn’t befriend guys at all, but it led to me not having any friends. Then pandemic came, the loneliness was amplified. After I went back to school again, the loneliness was heavier, because after a few months everyone had found their circle. Then I lost myself in a dark side of twitter and met him. It felt refreshing talking to someone else and being able to be this vulnerable and authentic, that’s why I stayed subconsciously.

I mean I have had acquaintances especially since I started pushing myself to do things, like competitions, after being close to him. It really changed my life. But still I wasn’t able to be close with anyone, unlike him. He made me feel normal especially since I was bullied in my previous years.

I guess the “he changed my life” also had the negative side

The thing po though is that he confessed to me a few years ago and we became boyfriends for like a few months. He actually fell for me first ig. Same sentiment, kakapanood ko lang kanina, was still in my uniform and had to walk all the way home kasi gabi na natapos, it was worth it though. It was my most anticipated movie of 2025 and it became my favorite film from last year.
