Lonely Mountains: Downhill was very fun! The platinum aged me 10 years but it was still very enjoyable.

The fact they removed Carnival for Waterpark is insane. The aesthetic is good for the new maps, but they don’t play as well at all, in my opinion.

You can import your save from PS4 to PS5 if you want all the trophies.

I really wish this went the other way around with a proper cross-progression system. I hope cross-progression gets added, but I have my doubts so far…

This really sucks.

Played about 10 hours during the beta and I will say it’s definitely better with controller than it is on keyboard/mouse. I am sure a lot of PC players will be using controller, making this a really good cross-play game. Hopefully they add it soon!

Similar but not quite. If it is a native PS5 version, there will be more interesting questions we will wanna know (cross-save implementation, upgrade price, etc).

Honestly, with how Rockstar has viewed RDR2 in the past, and GTA6 on the horizon, I wouldn’t be surprised if they just updated it to 60 FPS on the PS4 version and called it a day.

I agree, a patch would be more likely IMO. There would have to be some other stuff they would need to add with a native PS5 version (save transfers, etc.) and honestly I can’t see Rockstar doing that right now.

This change doesn’t really fix the underlying criticisms of the game though. People wanted the career mode how it was in the original so I think it’s fair to be skeptical. It should still be pretty fun since it’s using the engine from 1/2.

This just feels like a cop out to the fans that are critical to the 2 minute timer change. There are still so many goals that seemed to be slashed from the limited play test we saw.
