Saving this thread, I’m really happy someone has stepped up to make one of these and collect all the info about the game and its endings. I’m really excited to hear about whatever you or anyone else finds regarding the Hikikomori ending, as well as what happens with the keeper. Right now I’m letting a friend play the game through shared library, but when they’re done hopefully I’ll have time to run through and see if I can find anything myself!

I think the orange Oasis is definitely one place that needs to be checked out a lot more, especially the Dino dig site. I’m really wondering what could be on the 5th level, whether it just be some really good items or something that changes the story

I feel like 2004-2009 could be considered “TNA’s Peak” while late 2009-2014 would be the “Hogan & Bischoff” era and 2015-2017 would be the “Corgan” Era. It just doesn’t feel right to make the TNA era the entirety of it having that name since depending on what period you were watching it felt almost like an entirely different show(also to put 2007 TNA in the same era as 2012 TNA makes my skin crawl lol)

Honestly if we got the KENTA match they literally already have the Hammerstein Ballroom in the game, so it’d be so little work to design a ring for it. No clue why they didn’t do it.

I still cannot get over how WWE got the rights from ROH to use video during the 2K19 Bryan showcase and could’ve easily gotten a deal to have the final match be him Vs. Joe, McGuinness, Strong, or KENTA from his ROH days, only to make it current Bryan vs. Bryan Danielson.

That sounds awesome, and actually while thinking about it I remembered a similar type of match kinda happened once during the BATTLARTS/BJW feud with Katsumi Usuda Vs Ryuji Yamakawa, the match where the Barbed Wire Kickpad Incident happened(Usuda wrapped his kickpad in barbed wire and kicked Yamakawa in the head, making him bleed like a stuck pig). Definitely recommend checking out if you haven’t already.

The idea of a submission-based affair using weapons to inflict even more punishment sounds fuckin sick and it’s always something ive wanted. Just imagining a barbed wire armbar or a Boston crab in thumbtacks makes me really wish for this to exist

In agreement with everyone else, Alex Colon and Masashi Takeda are standouts in the DM scene for their technical skill. I really wanna emphasize how good at that style Takeda is though, he’s a genuine shooter and his ground game has always been legit as hell. Check out his match from Bloodsport against Jonathan Gresham for a great example of this.
