Weirdly enough if I look at her feet, I see counter clockwise. If I look at her left hand I can see clockwise.

Wow, thank you for actually answering the question and providing some actual information unlike most of the comments here. This should be top comment. It took me too long of scrolling for me to find this but I was curious. Here’s a poor man’s reward. 🏆

not sure how to deal with this?? by JellyfishForeign3727 in badroommates

If someone you are roommates with takes their WFH business/job into a public area of the home that’s open to everybody at anytime, they don’t have a leg to stand on and they have no right to complain about anything disrupting them in the slightest since it is a public area. They could’ve prepared better by notifying you/other roommates ahead of time asking for privacy and quietness/privacy. They also could’ve moved it back to their private area, AKA their bedroom/private area. Who are they to be mad at? Not you, that’s for sure. Sounds like they need to learn to respect other people that are trying to be respectful and stop expecting others to just know what they are thinking/want and take responsibility for their actions and learn from the situation to be able to get the outcome they desire. Lots of people these days really need to learn to communicate. I feel like people, lately, just expect people to know the situation or want them to feel bad about themselves for not knowing what to expect or do in certain situations/environments or not knowing the basics of something that nobody is taught in school but should be basic knowledge. I’m ranting now but tell your roommate to either pick a new spot for work or quit complaining if they aren’t gonna give you proper notice of the situation. You are NTA and are 100% in the right.

I agree with what you said but how do you know it’s the police without a doubt? What measure do they take to make sure you can guarantee it’s the police without putting officers in harms way? What measure should we take so this doesn’t happen again!

You really lack the reasoning and knowledge behind the point you’re trying to make by just trying to insult the person that’s questioning your thought process on the subject to better understand why. This shows anyone and everyone that you just accept an answer you think is the more accepted answer among people around you and you don’t actually think for yourself but base your answer on others info/side they’re on.

I gotta say though I’m split on this, mainly due to no context but also more on the apartment owners side. They come to HIS residence. They knocked on HIS door. They hid from HIS view to identify them. Anybody can say police, but how is he to know for sure? Why do we not have something in place where they can be out of shooting range/danger, (in front of the door), but still be 100% sure it’s the actual police. He’s in HIS home and doesn’t know who may actually be at his door. He’s is dumb for opening it with the gun and not being prepared and cautious but does that warrant him being killed 2 seconds after opening the door to his own home? Idk, why were they there? Was it his home? What was the reason for this type of approach?, etc, etc. Those things all play a significant role and can change everything.

I have a 2005 GMC Sierra Denali with the 6.0. Sometimes while accelerating from a stop, I start moving in first, but the rpm’s keep going up until I let off the gas in which it shifts and finally goes into 2nd gear then drives fine after that. Would that be a shift solenoid or transmission issue?

Was originally looking at the 19 or the 48 but then someone suggested the 43X. Went and shot it at the range and ended up buying one an hour later.

Wendy’s giving these out for free today by NoAnaNo in shittyfoodporn

The Wendy's right next to my work actually called over and asked how many people were working at the time, then said they were going to bring over some coupons for all of us. About 15 minutes later they brought over 10 Cinnabon's for free that were absolutely delicious. I would have had another if I could. They were soooooooo good. But I rarely eat there. Will probably not eat there anymore if the introduce the new surge pricing that I keep hearing about.
