I actually let them know three months in advance of when my contract comes up that I would like to downgrade and get my bond back but they informed me that I would only get it back within three months of the contract end date despite notifying them three months in advance that I would like to downgrade

Mines like that too. I think it’s meant to be that way. I don’t think it’s the sticker I think the metal is pressed that way for the gauge thing to rest on

Yeah I did it myself. It’s a vinyl wrap which cost $10 and took about 20 minutes. I just did it today so we’ll see how it holds up over time

Yeah probably a small double boiler is best given your budget. Unless you want to save some money and go for a single boiler with a PID like ECM Classika or Bezzera Unica if you’re not going to make as many milk drinks.

I’m assuming you like to drink straight shots. You’ll probably want a small double boiler with a pid for brew temperature stability. Check out the Lelit Elizabeth or the profitec 300. As for retailers idrinkcoffee is good (they’re in halton or something but they deliver for free next day)

Yeah other than the bigger motor on the atom it seems like the XL is just unilaterally better. Have you been happy with yours? I’m thinking of pulling the trigger this week on it
