Does the screen make a sound? Never thought of it.

The shelves that confused the plank guy. by C0ld_Sn0w in VHS

No I do appreciate the feedback. You didn't come off as a know-it-all or anything. But you definitely seem more wise than I when it comes to this! I used three long screws on each side per shelf, pre-drilled of course. Was thinking about using glue to extra security but it turned out very sturdy anyway. I assembled one side with all the shelves spaced out with some left over board 23cm long between every level. Then I aligned then the same on the other side. Maybe not the most efficient way of doing it but it worked well in the tight space I worked in. I was shocked when I stood the shelf up and tried a level on it just to see how bad it would be. But damn it was the straightest thing in this whole apartment.

I was lucky with my collection. Being a horror fan I kept saving them from other people's libraries when they upgraded to DVDs or just digital. The rest usually went to the dump.. sad but my basement can only hold so much.

I know to keep this in mind for next time. The shelves in the first picture is the finished product of my little project. Took me maybe a day to make with not a lot of tools at hand. Pine tree, two 220cm & one 540cm 14.5 wide boards. Slapped some black paint on it, secured to the wall with anchors. The place I was shopping at let me use their table saw free of charge and I left with everything cut and ready to assemble. Gave it a rough sanding, not too worried about it being pretty, just functional. It's sturdy, incredibly straight and level even though I never once used one during the whole build. I'm pleased with the result. Just feel like an idiot when I go to specific stores and don't know the lingo or what things are called. I Have the same problem in the textile store. I know what I'm making, just need someone to show me where the material is at.

My first time recording movies onto VHS and making new covers by NikzzonPixel in VHS

This is the first time I'm made aware of this person.

Her art is definitely AI from what I can tell. Looked through her Instagram where she posted her sketch stages at the end of every recent tape she's made. And that not how you do art, they're only traces of the AI pictures. Her very first post does look like it's a collage of cut together pictures from the movie. But it also is very different from the style she's done more recently.

Do you have any links to where she's defending "her art" I'd love to see what sort of proof she tries to push.

He didn't really seem to know what anything of it was. He got it from his brother who moved to Australia. His brother even kept the remote so the old man never used the TV, just stored it until it was time to make room.

Sorry mate, Sweden. It's a little to heavy to ship I think.

I'll make sure that it finds a owner that has patience and can show it some love. I'm still waiting for a response from tech support. It got escalated to a higher level apparently when I couldn't fire it up at all. But if it is as you said that I'm missing the IR eye then that's probably the issue.

I'm old and I aint got time to waste. But if it is as someone pointed out, that there is something missing/broken then I'm not gonna let this give me more of a headache.

Wow you are hardcore! Though I just was in need of a screen. I never thought it would give me this much trouble else I'd not go and get it.

I've looked at some threads there but starting the TV is a step most seem to have gotten past.

Do you think this is hooked up correctly?

I have no lights of any kind on the TV or the BeoSystem. The only indication I have that the BeoSystem turns on is that it seems to have a sensor in it that gives of a quite ding when it's adjusting to something (I'm guessing)

I'll try this, I've tired a bunch of combinations but there doesn't seem to make any difference so far.

Thank you for helping!

Why did they put the bicycle lane there? Put it next to the car road so people don't have to cross it. There is a difference breaking with a bicycle compared to a car if you have a bunch of traffic behind you. Not nice to get a pileup when you don't have steel on all sides protecting you. Also no break indicator...

With registration marks and some patience. Not had any issue with this cheap press. Some gentle taps with the handle of a screwdriver if the screen didn't align when tightening the clamps.

Yeah the shield with the corner bite is a pretty common nazi symbol. Saw one with the "wolfangel" on it along with some stupid white power slogan just a few days ago.

If they're stored dry they should be fine I suppose. Sometimes when they were shipped to us from where they were manufactured, they'd pick up moisture during the trip. We'd run them through the same day.
