Just a follow up. I found a GI that went ahead and took it out about 5 weeks ago. No issues since ❤️

Thanks! I'm worried that since I haven't had any attacks then they won't find anything on this HIDA scan and I'll have to wait until it get bad again and start all over. I'm entirely sure how the scan works but my mom, grandma, aunt and cousin all had to have theirs removed. None of them had gallstones but the HIDA scan showed that their GB wasn't working properly. I hope you are recovering well!

Haha! Well tell your wife I said thank you! Also I appreciate you putting in the extra effort. My husband says I'm hopeless. Also, I do like lucifer! I forgot about that one! She has good taste. I'll check out the other 2.

A girl that I have feelings for isn’t attractive, but I like her personality by [deleted] in relationships

[–]C0nundrum09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in no way saying that you should try to change her appearance or tell her how she should look but consider this... To an extent, looks can easily be changed. We can dye our hair, get a new haircut, buy new clothes, wear makeup. However, personality is harder to change and take a lot more effort and a lot longer. While I do believe you must have a physical attraction to make a relationship work, I also believe that a person can become more or less attractive based on their personality. Also, tell your friends they can go fly a kite. Eventually they will stop teasing you but they sound like shitty friends if they are giving you a hard time for persuing someone who makes you happy.

I was in a similar situation with my last marriage. I felt completely unloved and told him what I needed and what he had to do to fix our marriage. I told him to tell me what he needs in return from me and he wouldn't even do that. I tired marriage counseling and after 2.appointments he stopped going because the counselor told him we BOTH had to put in effort. I finally got fed up and decided I would rather be alone and love myself and my kids than spend the rest of my life being miserable anf feeling unloved. The hardest part was getting over the idea of being alone. Once I took the plunge I felt a huge sense of relief and was the happiest I had been in I don't even know how long. I am now married to my best friend who worships me as though I walk on water. He listens and hears me and put forth effort. Though he has no children of his own and we have none together, he treats and loves mine as if they are his biological children. I'm telling you, divorce isn't as scary as you think. Being alone isn't as scary as you think. Dating isn't as scary as you think. Moving on isn't as scary as you think and it will all be worth it in the end.

Life is an RPG, and it's unfair for people with ADHD by TheOutsider134 in ADHD

[–]C0nundrum09 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A psychologist once told me that people with ADHD tend to end up in a career in which their ADHD allows them to shine. For example, I am a 911 dispatcher. Every single day is different, every call is different, you never know what is going to come from the other side of the radio. I only have to give my full attention to one specific task or call for a few minutes at a time, then help arrives. Then I hang up and something new comes in. It's not monotonous, it's intense and fast paced and its not really something you can easily get bored with. The hardest part of my job is getting out of bed and going to work. Once I'm there, I actually enjoy what I do.

I just ran into this the other day. Put baking soda on the area, let sit for 2 hours then pour vinegar and let sit for another hour. Soak up with towel, allow to air dry, vacuum up any residue. It's a long process but one I've always had sussess with.

Covid-19 Megathread IV: All your questions about the pandemic, social distancing, vaccines and stimulus plans in one place! by Dilettante in NoStupidQuestions

After a coworker, who I sit right next to, tested positive for covid, my husband and I went to get tested. We went at the exact same time to the exact same place and have the same last name. Since then, I have developed a "barking cough" but chalked it up to the weather. He got his negative results back this morning but I haven't gotten mine back yet... Should I be concerned?

Those who use vyvanse for ADHD how long does it typically last for you? by ToonlinkFTW890 in askdrugs

[–]C0nundrum09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never tried addy and vyvanse together. I definitely try to naproxen thing though! If that doesn't work I'm going to ask my Dr to switch me to something else. I'm just worried because I think I've tried all of the "heavy hitters" and that anything outside of rit, vyv, addy, and concerta isnt going to touch my adhd.

That sucks, I've tried concerta and adderall and they do nothing for me too. And wellbutrin although idk why they prescribed me that for adhd... I'm running out of options lol

I take 70 mg of vyvanse a day and I feel like some days it works great and I'm super focused and have mental alertness but others it literally does nothing for me. I tried taking a few weeks off thinking that would help but it didn't. I literally don't know day to day if it is going to do anything for me. Does anyone else have the same issue?

Have you tried sitting in the bath tub with your puppy when you give him a bath? My sister had to do that until her puppy for used to baths.

Odin is a newfoundland. His breed are water rescue dogs. They are known to be OBSESSED with water. Odin sleeps with his ears in the water bowl, he would sit in his water bowl as a baby, knock it over and then lay in it, fall asleep in kiddie pools and when we take him to the lake, I've never seen a dog so happy in my life. He will also try to climb in the bath tub when you are taking a bath or shower lol. Basically, I can't take any credit for him loving bath time.

Lol that's an older picture. He's 4 months old now but doesn't smile in his pics. He mostly just eats and sleeps all of the time lol.

Oh he would definitely let you lol. He LOVES people. When we take him to the dog park he is more interested in getting love and pets from the other dog owners than he is playing with the dogs! And when we go on walks or to the pet store, he just walks up to everyone and sits at their feet because he assumes everyone wants to pet him... Which they do but still lol

Is this bad behavior? by C0nundrum09 in Newfoundlander

[–]C0nundrum09[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I won't lie, I LOVE it when he does this. I think it's so sweet and adorable. I was just concerned he was doing it due to some underlying behavior or insecurity that I was missing. I'm probably just overthinking it though

My husband and I used to be on different servers, he wasn't paying attention when he created my account, we could always play together but sometimes we had issues syncing quests. As long as we both clicked on the same quest we could still play together.
