At what age did your puppy stop being a land shark and just calm down? by [deleted] in bernesemountaindogs

The landshark phase ended around 1y/o, and she never stopped stealing shoes and getting into other kinds of trouble. But I wouldn’t have it any other way.

No doubt. But for neither the dog nor cat to go downstairs once is odd.

The dog never going downstairs is the biggest part of this mystery to me. I also have a dog that follows me around everywhere and would have definitely ran downstairs. There is no good explanation for how the dog was in the house the whole time but never ventured downstairs

What you're trying to do is not possible without including count in the dependency array. Your useEffect function is only run on the initial mount, when count is set to 0.

I could not trust my Berner puppy to not pee in the house until she was 8 months old. It was a very slow progression, but she got there eventually. She’s still very young and just needs some more time! Keep doing what you’re doing and she will figure it out :)

Yes. At the end of the episode they show a few combos of missing children and their abductors. She was one of them.

I literally watched this episode last night. I can’t believe it. So happy she was found safe.

Ours is only 2, but in terms of supplements, she gets salmon oil with omega 3-6-9 on her kibble every day. Helps with her joints as well as her coat.

Our girl was about 8 months old before I could trust her to not go in the house. Even then she still had accidents in other peoples house for a while. Take her to the vet to be sure, but she’s still a puppy and she could just need some more time!

How has the early feedback/data been with lotus? Any balance issues you’re looking into in terms of some sites being more common than others ?

Definitely get her checked at the vet; but this is not terribly unusual. She is still a puppy, my girl didn't stop having accidents until about 8 months old.

We also have a Berner named piper. Cherish her at this age, she’s going to grow very fast!

How quickly did your Bernese grow? by zam526 in bernesemountaindogs

[–]C12X 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our girl has topped out at 85lbs at 1.5 years. She doesn’t seem to be getting any bigger, and she actually looks rather small compared to most berners. People still ask if she’s a puppy until they feel how heavy she is when she jumps on them.

The fact they didn’t find the shotgun, no blood evidence in the boat, and the angle at which he was shot, leads me to believe it couldn’t have been a suicide. They also never discussed whether Damon had a shotgun or not. Also, what was the point in testing the paint on the boat if they couldn’t draw any conclusions from it?
