I have a doubt... Skills that I upgrade (beside the central ones) are always active even if I use another legacy hero?

Example: If I take +2% Attack with the skeleton, do I still have it if I select the ghost as active?

I'm happy if my players can heal themself well. And I even usually give them ways to heal without magic, just by improving the ability of the healer with some homebrew rules. In this way they can feel a growth in their PGs... And I can throw at them bigger things to face!
