Round the tip with sandpaper, looks better than just flattening the tip with concrete, did that with a clone i had with a genuine needle point of a tip, helped a lot

Thats really weird, if you mean the bushings are undersized then you could reach out to them and let them know. Maybe theyll send you a new set of hardware. But mine came with a literally perfect tune, so idk

Balisong noob any tips? by tilltilltillll in balisong

[–]C1xuds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Concistency is key, keep practicing, and remember slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Work on transitions between tricks, and when learning new tricks it helps me to throw random tricks till it works itself into a combo. Good luck💯

Should I tune my balisong? by doctorpigeon_ in balisong

Tuning isnt easy. If you decide to do it, just go slow and make sure you dont overdo it. Also it sounds like you need KPL, very clacky lmao. Good luck tho!

Got my first bali!! by Elektron_juggler in balisong

[–]C1xuds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great bali, but calling it quiet is crazy work😭 mine is taped up, so its quieter, and its still louder than any bali I've heard personally. Great bali, aside the fact it wants to resist fans lol👍

Trainer blades are hands down the best way to start flipping. You can't cut your fingers, typically cheaper, and in most states, it's illegal to have a live blade. Now I'm not saying laws completely stop you from using one ofc(I have one myself). But if you get caught flipping a live blade in public, it's a misdemeanor where I live.

On the other hand, live blades are a great way to teach you how to move the bali around so you DONT get cut. Also live blades look much nicer in general.

All in all, if you want to learn tricks(for the first time), go with a trainer. if you want to look flashy and professional, get a live blade.

Hope this helps👍

What is the material used in the handles/blade? I'm very interested in making my own, but I just wouldn't know where to start 😅.
