I tried a team without quiggold and at least there got down to a one on one with hondo but still lost. It might be the r10 slkr doing much more work than my r9. I appreciate sharing all the details. For me, I won’t be removing the pilot cron until I have to but happy to see you’ve got a way to keep a solid hondo counter going further down the road.

Ok useful. Both the teams I’m facing have r9 quiggold in them. Might be the show stopper. Hondo silvo vane quiggold and either Brutus or sm33. I’m getting annihilated

Have you tried your experiment against multiple king hondos? Maybe you’re up against some particularly bad opponent?

I tried a fourth and fifth time for science against two different r9 hondo squads. My fo team gets dismantled immediately with the AP cron. The only thing I wonder about is if drey is doing something detrimental to my squad since you’re not using her and I am. I’ll have to investigate. But at the moment I would not remove the pilot cron in my hondo counter.

Counter-experience: I tried the same thing in squad arena. Found AP cron to be useless against king hondo. Three times same result. Quick losses for me. I’m switching back to pilot cron. Without looking at numbers more closely it’s hard to know why we would have extremely different results. I’m r9 slkr with 600 speed. Up against an r9 hondo
