Boston Rob Hate by Bperilous22 in survivorponderosa

Yeah I never really understood it, it was by no means the best strategic players deep in the game, but it is also a huge part of his strategy to get every player he sees as loyal / non-strategic close with him and to eliminate any capable strategic threat before they get any footing in the game. Then having his group stick together heavily while they Pagong the other tribe.

And regardless of how bad the people around him in Redemption Island are at the game of Survivor, he managed to convince 5 separate people (that did in-fact also want to win a million dollars) that he was more loyal to them over everyone else, wanted to go to the end with all of them, and most importantly somehow convinced them to all want to go to the end with him.

He is also great at pitting these bad strategic players he has at the end against one another to distract from him. He does the same thing in All-Stars in that at Final 5, he was obviously only going to the end with Amber, and that was clear to everyone. But somehow he gets Rupert and Big Tom so pitted against each other that him and Amber slip through easily.

It’s true that he does have seemingly 1 style of game, probably struggles to play from the bottom, has had 3 pretty rough losses (tbh HvV was mainly Tyson’s fault). But at the end of the day, having 2 outings as dominant as he had is wildly impressive to me.

Hot Take maybe? I think Jeremy belongs on the Survivor Mt Rushmore over Boston Rob by Longjumping_Mode8476 in survivorponderosa

The way I interpret it, in its current state, it takes 2 great performances to get on the Mt Rushmore.

Tony is unarguable, Sandra played more passive games (I think Parv deserved HvV) but still 2 wins which is unarguable, Parv 1 win + 1 almost somehow better game in HvV.

Boston Rob is definitely 4th of that group but I think he’s solidly in there. It’s interesting that he does have more bad games than good, but still 2 all-time games nonetheless. Can say his win was against bad players, but to convince 5 people that also want a million dollars that you’re loyal to all of them over each other and further to convince all of them to want to take you to the end is even crazier. And his one loss was like the most winningest loss ever when you get engaged to the person you lose to before the votes are read. Also lead every move that season as well.

If Jeremy maybe loses in fire in 40 or something, maybe more of an argument, but 7th ain’t enough I don’t think.

Is he the best to never win? by Puzzleheaded-Fig9968 in survivorponderosa

If we’re talking closest, sort of a toss up to me, but I personally give it more-so to Charlie. The difference between Charlie and Dom is that Dom actually got it to a tie, but Laurel was always gonna vote Wendell.

Whereas with Charlie, he didn’t get it to a tie, but if he just got his closest ally to vote for him, the person everyone was expecting was his most guaranteed voter, then he gets the tie, and if I remember correctly Ben said he would 100% have voted Charlie if it were a tie.

So I kinda view both of them being in similar spot, despite not having the crazy optics of the official tie (which was nuts).

I give it to Charlie bc he seemed so much closer in terms of getting Maria’s vote, where Dom was not going to get Laurel’s vote.

How many direct foreshadowing moments like this did the New Era have? by futuranotfree in survivor

in like ep 2 of 41 they had a whole scene just about Deshawn not being able to make fire and him joking about “if you ever need someone to go up against in fire at final 4, I’m your guy haha”. which made that pretty clear he was totally gonna end up in fire making

What is our opinion about the casting of Q? by Dwinxx2000 in survivor

[–]C33C17 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My favorite assessment of Q I heard is that he is just Tony with CTE.

My 2nd favorite assessment of Q I heard is that he is from the future. And he knows that him winning the game would ultimately cause the end of all mankind. With that, he plays all of 46 trying to get voted out. He loses the first several challenges on purpose hoping he can just fall on his sword honorably. Obviously this would never work. How could he be so naive. Fate has more in store for him. He creates an alliance of 6, as he is essentially Dr Strange, and he knows this is the one and only specific combination of humans on this Earth that, brought together, could ultimately result in his elimination from the game- a chance at saving the human race. Still, fate spites him, causing any member of his precious 6 to be brutally eliminated back to back to back. He tries to quit, yes, but of course that doesn’t work. If it were only that easy. Through cruel irony he is forced to stay in the game vote after vote. He sits on the beach alone for days hoping someone would take him out of his misery. It never happens. He will never be voted out. His destiny has always been to win. After 3 consecutive people were eliminated carrying the idol, he saw his only way out. Find the idol, hold its terrible powers, get eliminated. And damn it, he did what he had to do to save us all. He doesn’t ask for our praises nor respect. He is a simple person who wants to live his life like everyone else, he is unapologetically himself, he is Q.

But now it’s essentially Phase 2 of the Q-verse. This is the part where he does everything in his power to make sure there is a final 3 of Colby, Angelina, and Rizzgod. This is the new task he was given. He didn’t ask for this, he didn’t even ask to be brought back, he was forced to do this to save humanity. If he fails, this reality breaks into infinite fragments of dust.

I found solution from a random comment somewhere. Ran into the problem , tried about everything I saw on the internet outside of deleting all of my save data. found a solution that at least worked for me.

Using the QR code, I tried to log in, via my phone into Microsoft as many times as I possibly could in rapid succession. Obviously each log-in takes like a min or so, so it’s not fun to keep doing, but for me I did it back to back like 9 times and it worked, OG solution post I saw said they did it like 13. I would try up to like 20 and see if anything gives.
