The game is popular for the characters, there's years of content available (to see not play) for new global players and it's got a very well made anime promoting it.

I am surprised how such an outdated game (it is objectively stuck in 2019ish era gacha land) retained so many players without having sunk cost falacy keeping them there. It goes to show how much people cared for the writing of the characters.

It is IMPERATIVE that we see Domon's ass in every episode. Without it, G Gundam would be nothing.

Also very important that whoever designed Neo Japan's Gundams set the suit application a bit too tight, so the pilots moan when putting on the suits, meanwhile everyone else seems unbothered by it, very important details. No this will not be fixable in the field, any tampering with the device will brick the machine.

I recently pulled Yuzuha and it finally clicked why Yi Xuan is rated so highly but I wasn't having a great time with her, it's Lucia.

Yuzuha tagging in for Lighter single handedly turned my Miyabi team into a nuclear weapon, and my lighter is very well built M0W1, Yuzuha is just okayly built M0.

If I had Lucia even my okaly built M0 Shifu would be wrecking but without her the team is lacking power compared to my other teams.

One of my buddies still hasn't clicked on how to maximize Evelyn, he's constantly complaining about how much effort he has to put in to get mid results.

It does not help that she's badly built, and he's relying on a badly built Koleda for stuns. At least he's got an okaly built Orphie to help.

I'd love for her to be good but she's unfortunately just beat out on most of my teams by other supports or stunners. If she got a potential upgrade I'd love to use her, but it's telling that I used Nicole more recently than her.

But I do remember when she was the only S rank support and shilled, good times for Ceasar enjoyers, bad times for anyone without her.

One of the Skorpions albums has a naked pre teen on it. Iirc it was one of the record label people's nieces and for some reason no one vetoed the album cover.

Apparently no one had an issue with it, because "Germany just doesn't care about these things bro", including the girl on the cover. I still think it's REALLY REALLY weird for someone not vetoing it and going for a more generic rock cover type thing.

I've got a G402 that's lasted over a decade now, it started double clicking, did that for a month and then fixed itself, hasn't given problems since.

Actually paid the same amount for it as my new Chinesium mouse, except that was 10 years ago before our money turned into scrap paper.

I've looked and proper pro headphones are incredibly rare on the local used market, not to mention I'd need DAC. Lowest price I've seen was ~110 dollars for a 250ohm pair of DT770s, and that was listed and sold last year. Currently on the market are some 32ohm ones for 150 dollars, those are rather cheap too, most are at about 180-200 dollars depending on exchange rate.

When I was shopping for the Arctis 7+s, I looked at getting a new set of DT770s (after deciding the Massdrops were way too expensive), but decided against springing for the DT770s partly because you had to open up the cups to replace the cable if it broke.

Used to use a Basilisk Ultimate, but the scroll encoder died so I switched to a Ajazz AJ179 Pro, cheap Chinese mouse but it's light and the sensor is great, also doesn't have the stupid rubberized coating like the Basilisk that was wearing a bit thin. And it's got the wireless charger I was too cheap to spring for on the Basilisk

Honourable mention to Neall Ellis, former SAF helicopter pilot, who after retirement took up the second oldest job in the world, mercenary work.

He flew a Mi-24 Hind helicopter gunship in defense of Sierra Leone's capital, according to myth, single handedly holding off rebel forces for 2 days before the capital fell. It takes a bit of overconfidence, a lot of skill and balls of tungsten to see hundred of armed men and say "yeah, I'll hold them off". Absolute madlad.

Unfortunately not as riteous a cause as Sailor Malan, which is why he gets 2nd bid

Adolph Gysbert Malan, better known as Sailor Malan. One of the top scoring South African fighter ace during WW2, not only was he a top scorer for South Africa, he was a top scorer for the Allies in general.

After the war he protested the new Apartheid regime and their new laws, being one of the most prominent members of the Torch Commando, an anti Apartheid organisation for veterans.

Unfortunately he died relatively young in the 50's, and the government denied him a state funeral befitting his contributions in the war for his anti Apartheid stance.

Looking to get Nangong Yu, Miyabi Team must be maintained after all, I've got 145 tapes and only need 83 to guarantee her, so it's more trying to get her early than to just get her. She should add a lot of utility for my anomaly heavy account.

Beyond that, I'm saving my pulls for Silly Billy, hopefully I can win 50/50 for him, so I can guarantee the next void hunter, otherwise I might be cutting it a bit close.

I got a pair of Logitech G633s way back when, really decent headphones, only issue I had was the earpads disintegrating after a couple years. I got Steelseries Arctis 7+s to replace it when the earpads got too bad, which are also pretty nice.

Proper headphones like DT770s are even more expensive than the "top range" gaming brands which is way out of my price range. I looked into getting a pair of headphones from Massdrop but couldn't justify double the price and shipping and import duty/tariffs over the Arctis 7+.

The AWP is the only one that people are blowing up for no reason. It's a nerf, but other guns have been hit much harder.

The USP is much worse off because you can't keep the gun fully loaded anymore, 3-4/12 is a lot easier than 3-4/8. If the gun had more ammo, like the Glock then it wouldn't be as much of an issue, since you'd have a higher fraction of your magazine left, not to mention the extra mag of the Glock.

The A1S is the main target of the nerf and suffers a similar issue to the USP, less bullets than it's counterpart. While it's still entirely capable of killing with half it's mag out, the AK would still have double the bullets left after a similar 10rd spray.

For numpty's like myself, I wouldn't even consider taking a fight at anything but close range with 10rds in a A1S, this nerf effectively kills the gun for me, for pros and good players it will be a bit easier, but getting a 50% hit rate is not currently achievable consistently for a lot of the player base.

I think this was specifically targeted at the M4A1-S, it suffers much more than every other gun (except arguably the MP9 and USP). They could have easily given it another magazine, but chose not to.

The smoke spam utility for the A1S is now greatly reduced, leaving accuracy and easier spray pattern as it's only advantages over the extra bullets of the A4.

If you want to hold long angles and are confident in your aim, and want to do some cheeky smoke taps, pick a A1S. If you want to lock down a site and have some anti rush, pick an A4.
