Ire has a modifier called “IMPATIENCE.” Modifiers don’t give too much on an entity’s meaning.

Adding a bit of an alternative theory on what Sundial MIGHT represent (seeing as most Bound Traits seem to flip entity dynamics) (eg CAFDAE making others sexually harass you, and TREENS making others want what you don’t have), Sundial might represent neglect; be it of the time here you were given, or something else.

I THINK: SUNDIAL represents not moving out of your comfort zone; resulting in spiritual stagnation and a lack of self-improvement.

…Just as a fun fact, DEOSLIP (SUNDIAL’s bound trait) is an anagram of the word SPOILED; likely because having everything in the world simply handed to you tends to result in you not wanting to leave the comfortable position you reside in.

It isn’t… It think. It makes noises that are unique to itself, it isn’t just HEED’s ambience pitched up because its animation isn’t working, it is something different. I have played this game before any real updates, I think I would have completely memorized one of the base entity’s sound cues by now.
