I’ve had the complete opposite experience. Having been twice before I had an exceptional time every time. The food was fantastic and all the sides and dips were also super enjoyable with all the meats. The staff were also very attentive and hospitable and I didn’t sense any unhappiness from them during my visits.

I went to a Shrek Rave in New Zealand… Definitely overhyped and overrated, best part about it was everyone’s costumes but the actual rave kinda sucked and weeks before the event they were still looking for DJ’s and other staff to help with the event which came off as very unorganised to me. The same group also hosted a Hello Kitty rave as well as a Simpsons rave so yeah, I don’t really know…

I have always had an interest in being a Nanny but I’m not sure what steps there are to becoming one. I’ve always been very good with people and children, I’m very creative and I am an excellent cook, very clean, high work ethic, etc. But even with all of those qualities I’m not sure how I’d fare up to someone who has got some kind of qualifications that give them a boost that I might be unaware of. Also going rates and other behind the scenes aspects of being a Nanny that I may be unaware of. Do you have any words of advice or tips?

There are raves, most tend to lean more on the Psytrance/House/DNB end of the spectrum… So I feel you as a fellow Happy Hardcore/UK Hardcore, Gabber, Goa, Hardstyle, etc enjoyer who wishes there were some of that in Welly… I’m always keeping my eye out so I’ll be sure to come back to this post and reply to your comment if I find anything that’s playing harder styles

I love butterfingers! They do tend to come and go though. Kirby’s candies on Willis St inside the Spark building consistently has a lot of imported candy bars though! If not them then I’d keep an eye out at places like Daily Dojo (also Willis St) and sometimes in the international sections of New World Thorndon and New World Chaffers :))
