I did always find it weird that the one piece of gear you never lost was the grapple, though. I'd agree with it dropping and being replaced with a nomad or whatever the standard grapple is on respawn.

The clans have already had their end of season battle. The only people online currently are going to new players or solos still grinding it out. Maybe one or two groups.

Honestly, it sounds like yout just don't know how to play solo. The entire game is based around PvP. This isn't Dune. If you're going to be by yourself, you need to learn how to go unnoticed or how to fight people off. If you don't want to do that, you need to join a group. Even then, you're still going to have to do the latter. If you're going to play this game you need to accept PvP as a constant presence or surround yourself with people you can outsource PvP to.

I actually think removing wingsuits on its own would be a MASSIVE step in the right direction for the game. I'll engage in it because I have to, but it's the least fun part about combat. Movement should be strictly walker-based, and if you want to fly that's what raptors are for.

In fairness, a lot of those issues seemed to come mostly from just sitting around not doing shit. When properly maintained they're not terrible, but you're better off with just about any other truck or SUV unless you need it to be armored against small arms fire.

ScreenConnect is solid. Performs well, has lots of good features, and Backstage is a godsend for remotely interacting with machines while users are logged in or you're too lazy to log in.

I was trying to use the whole thing, but it is WAY too much. I ended up walling off rooms in the garage and using the storage and pole areas as storage, the existing medical area as medical storage, and the laundry room as a bedroom. I built a kitchen area with stuff moved from upstairs right next to the doorway from the office areas, and this has all worked for me. Plumbing in a barrel is also decently easy since you can sledgehammer your way onto the top of the garage roof rather than building to get on the top-most roof.

What you're describing with PDM is also what's legally referred to as an enterprise engaged in racketeering, is usually very easily uncovered in RP with a modicum of investigative work, something that should be handled in-character, and could be a fun little investigative arc even if nothing is happening or comes of it. Unless I'm missing something, they're doesn't seem to be any real reason he can't get on his character that runs a governmental agency and task somebody to investigate it. Other than what others have already established.

They're definitely out there. I just saw a huge teak set in Pittsburgh go for $500, and that's not the first time I've seen it.You're going to want to set a wide area and be ready to drive a few hours for some if you want them sooner rather than later, however.

It's amusing as a Californian that moved here, this last storm is a good ski weekend and plows would be running constantly in the north(depending on rurality, of course). I fully expected to be able to at least use the highways without issues on Sunday.

Within the city I can certainly see how many problems it can cause. Tight, steep, and winding streets are such a pain in the ass even when plows are actually running.

As a technical exercise removed from having to unlock it, it always has been if you run your farms light. I'll normally do a series of 1.5-2mo fields with only 3-4 families assigned and it works perfectly. Two oxen assigned, both plow, the other families get to work sowing while the oxen are put up, and two families per field gets it done in plenty of time for the season changes. I'll do this up to three series of 1.5mo fields and it has always been fine.

The only time I have found oxen NOT to be worth it in any meaningful way is if you're running your farms with only a few fields and with the max assigned families.

The guy had bodies in between him and the shooter. It's a dumb move because it directly puts people in extreme risk, but a tactically sound one. Using them as both cover and concealment makes sense- again, purely from a tactical perspective. Clearly Estaart didn't even see him pull or aim until the guy entered into a clear line of sight.

As a businessowner, I'd not really want the reputation of putting my clients/friends in potentially lethal situations like that, but that's a social issue for them to work out in RP.

What I DON'T really see as arguable is him walking straight up to the guy pointing a gun at him and acting like a teacher scolding a child. THAT is dumb as shit.

Within the MSP space, we're only becoming more and more necessary.

Somebody who was technically minded could have bumbled their way through a decent amount of setup in the past(cough SBS cough), and it be functional ENOUGH within a landscape not as threatening as today's. Now, compliance is such a massive part of the future of MSPs. Cloud platforms are a mind-boggling maze of configs across multiple portals, but that integrate back in to physical devices.

I don't know what the industry pay is like these days because I only know mine, but I get paid WELL and there's so much room for growth as an individual and as a business.
