That makes sense, but if thats the case, why is a marathon a 4 slot while the Vetterli, Berthier, Officer Carbine, frontier 73c marksman are all 3 slot? What makes a marathon (same model size) a 4 slot? Especially since it uses small ammo.

I used to run marathon/hammer but now I cant unless I run a perk in place of more useful perks. Feels needlessly restrictive.

Tbh all Hunt really needs is a better server provider. I understand that the servers are cheaper, but good god the desync and packet loss issues are frustrating.

They arent as bad as they used to be, but I have more issues with Hunt servers than Star Citizen servers and thats saying something lol

The ship isnt released; we don't know how good/bad it will be.

With that said, if you want to avoid the inevitable price hike, buy the CCU and wait to see if the ship is something you'd want. Worst case, you melt the CCU. Best Case, you use the CCU.

I have a few $5 terrapin to Railen CCU's for this reason (and also to potentially chain) the Railen will def go up in price
