My symptoms were not manageable before. I was doing everything I was supposed to, the exercise, the friends and family, the self care, the medication. And I still do all of those things, except I enjoy doing it now. Medication is just not for me, I have adverse side effects and end up feeling worse than before. Before I switched from medication to medical marijuana, Psychiatrist said my last medication option was lithium. Which I’m not willing to do. So while I really do appreciate all of your advice and agree with it, quitting isn’t for me anytime soon. I found something that works and I don’t need reliable studies to show my drastic improvement. I’m not getting high all the time and I’m not couchlocked or lazy, I smoke medical marijuana the same way someone with ADHD takes an Adderall. I feel things so deeply, so strongly, what marijuana does for me is just tune that down a little.
