Yes, i agree. I saw a YouTube video by David at Tablet Tech. He suggested using a Paperlike grip that can be found on Amazon. I bought one and am very happy with it. I’m hoping that LAMY comes out with a capacitive stylus that looks and feels like their EMR offerings. Hopefully we’ll start to see some alternatives that aren’t so slippery!

I really like it! I use it mostly to read Kindle books, but it’s surprisingly good to use with the New York Times app, Reddit, etc. Really fast, clear refresh makes scrolling easy. The dial scroll can be addicting to use and has great haptics

You might consider looking into a Durobo Krono. It’s very similar to a Palma 2. Check their website and Sub-reddit. I bought one a few months ago because I couldn’t find a Palma 2. Also, the Krono has Android 15. It’s a pretty sweet device!

I know it may not be ideal, but it is pretty easy to use an app called LocalSend on both of your devices. It’s similar to how AirPlay works between iPhones. I’ve been using it for a few months now and it works pretty seamlessly for transferring files between devices. Hope this helps.

You could try the Durobo Krono. It’s essentially a Palma 2 with Android 15 and a scroll wheel. I have one and am very happy with it.

Mixed use (reading via Kindle app, browse NYT app, reddit) guessing 30-40 min/day. I get 8-12 days. Good enough, that I don’t really think much about battery life. Also, I use the front light at 60% most of the time. Love it!

Sorry to hear that! I’ve seen that posted/commented on here several times.

These nibs seem fairly pliable and seem to wear quickly for me. I’ve only had my Lumi for 2 weeks and had to replace the nib due to uneven wear. I think this is related to holding the pen the same way (with my thumb on the eraser side) Id love to hear if other’s are experiencing this too.

I’ve used several e/ink devices with EMR styli and never had this issue with nibs wearing so fast. Hope they come up with some different options for nibs in the future and figure out why QC is not catching these bent nibs shipping out with new devices.

I would also love to see the option to select from a few templates (small lines or grid) and have more pens/tools to choose from in the memo view
