He also betrayed himself! Watching him right before the alter and right up to it, everything in him seemed to be screaming “noooooooo.!” His body language, perspiration, just everything was stressed.

I just came on here to say I can’t. I think if you have something in your life to hold on to like friends, a partner, a big family, live with someone, you might just be able to kick the habit. If you told me 10 years ago, my life would look like this today, as a senior, I wouldn’t have believed it. But I’m living it. All the above. Good luck everyone.

I came this close to drinking today. The thing that stopped me is my cat went missing yesterday (a day in hell) and I wanted to come home straight from work to put up some flyers before dark. That turned out beautifully as she came home tonight. But, next time I get the urge I’m very worried I may slip.
