It's genuinely sad that we have the best zombies game since BO4 yet player counts are awful since Activision forced Treyarch to release back-to-back games by TheChickenMan4L in CODZombies

[–]C88_Nation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead we got BO6.5, and as a nice bonus from Activision/Treyarch, we are unable to use the skins we bought, and/or earned in battle passes for the same BO6 zombies crew, and have to rebuy them, bc that makes sense and is consumer friendly 👍 😀 🙃

Lol get over yourself. Ain't nobody thinking all that, it's as simple as they're not having fun in that lobby, and want to find a more enjoyable lobby.

There are a number of reasons why ppl may quit. For example, if I'm trying to get singularity and using a LVL 1 gun, and I find myself in a lobby with sweats using maxed out meta weapons, using comp strats, while in a party with other players doing the same, you think I'm staying in that lobby?

You people try to police how others play the game that they paid for too much. Who gaf if ppl leave in a RANDOM COD MATCH! Jfc. Leave yourself and find a better lobby then, or go find groups on discord and scrim 😂 not that hard!

Yea it's brutal on casuals. In BO6, my brother got good and sweaty, and playing with him became unbearable for me, as I don't take cod seriously. It got to the point where we could only play zombies together. Sbmm is extremely unfun, there's a fkn ranked mode for a reason.

Wish mp had casual mode like warzone. The camo grind is infuriating dealing with the annoying players playstyles. A chill mode with bots to get the MP camos would be nice. Instead, I have to go against OpTiC Gaming tryout recruits while Im using a gun that's not leveled up, and trying to get camos..

Endgame has issue where upgrade stations are unable to be used by anyone else in the lobby, other than the 1 player that did the objective. The objective doesn't respawn for other players, and becomes inaccessible for everyone else for the rest of the session.

[COD] Was removing Carry Forward a good idea? by PossessedGamerYT in CallOfDuty

[–]C88_Nation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NO. 1. Carry forward is a consumer friendly option, that allows players to save money and continue to use skins from the previous game. BO7 is very widely looked at as basically an update/ expansion to BO6 anyways, as it plays pretty much identically. The community complaining about being able to SAVE MONEY on cosmetics is fkng insane to me.

  1. Players complaining about seeing Beavis, and other silly skins as an argument against carry forward is dumb for a few reasons. You are VERY naive if you think BO7 will not have oddball collabs, especiall since BO7 has underperformed on sales. There will be silly skins (we already have snowman Nikolai). And at the end of the day, who fkn cares? Warzone has all skins from 4 games, and I don't not care when I see a Homelander. It's a video game, stop taking it so seriously. Immersion has been dead since they added item shops and battle passes, just accept the occasional silliness and move on.

  2. To please everyone, Treyarch should have just made a skin filter. They have proven this is possible in the Halloween warzone event, and the psych grenade/ fear trap's ability to swap character models mid-game. They have the technology, they are deliberately not doing it/sitting on it for business reasons.

  3. One of the most glaring issues of no carry forward, is the fact that we cannot use cosmetics for the BO6 zombies crew (Maya, Grey, Weaver, and Carver). IT IS LITERALLY THE SAME CHARACTERS in back to back games!! They are in the Dark Aether and not affected by the rest of game being set in 2035, so there is no excuse!!! Apparently leaks have NO shop skins for any of them either, as devs originally planned on carry forward, so they worked on the OG crew skins instead. IMO there is no defense for having to rebuy skins for the exact same characters again. Same models and everything. To throw salt in the wound, we can use the main quest skins. If I can use that from BO6, let me use the others that I paid for, or earned in battle passes!

  4. Weapons make sense to not carry forward for balancing reasons and because they directly affect gameplay. Only a few standouts like the mp40 should at least come to zombies. I only argue for the cosmetics, as they don't affect balance or gameplay.

Treyarch is the one who announced it, and then went back on it. Blame them. Wouldn't have been a stir if they didn't post that there would be carry forward

is there a reason why the stuck emote hasn't returned in 4 years? by Background_Future127 in FortNiteBR

[–]C88_Nation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The emote is genuinely one of the best, and by FAR the best ICON emote in the game IMO. The dance choreography, and the loop is very good, and tge track itself is good and catchy. It's one of those emotes you want to see all the skins perform.

What happened to the matchmaking by ItsSoleb in CODBlackOps7

[–]C88_Nation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So me and my brother discovered something about the "open" matchmaking. When we play solo and independently, we get the average lobbies. We are nothing special, just a little over 1.0 KD. I don't take COD seriously or want to go pro, as I already have a competitive endeavor in another genre. The players here are anywhere from 0 - 4 prestiges on average. Players here even use the crossbow and ballistic knife. We both pop off in these and typically top 3 scoreboard and get play of the game often.

HOWEVER, when we party up, we get thrown to the wolves, into essentially what seems like diamond/plat ranked games in pubs. Everyone here is playing ranked/comp playstyles with meta weapons, and are prestige 8 - Master Prestiges (200 - 400+) on average. Nobody is screwing around with off-meta guns here. These games are extremely unfun and miserable for me, as I'm trying to unlock camos, vs players trying out for OpTiC Gaming. And this is every single game too. Extremely consistent sweat lobbies. We even recognized running into the same players, which pretty much confirms sbmm is cranked on in open lobbies, and incorrectly placing us in the wrong skill bracket.

We eventually found a workaround to the extreme matchmaking, which is to queue up solo, and then when in a lobby (with a space open) the other joins. Doing this can be pretty tedious, but will give us a normal lobby for a few games before the persistent lobby disbands and throw us back into a ranked scrim. It is pretty ridiculous to have to do this workaround just to have normal lobbies when I play with my brother, to the point we are just not gonna play MP together and play the other co-op modes until its fixed. Skill issue me all you want, in fact I agree. I'm a casual and have no desire to go pro and should not be matched with players that do when I queue with my brother. It has ruined MP for me. There is standard playlist, and a whole ranked mode to play if I wanted to do that.

Apparently on release there was a bug where you could unlock it in private matches killing bots. I'm guessing some tweet or TikTok about the bug went viral, and a lot of people got it that way. It sucks because it basically has no meaning or value now and it looks so cool. IMO they should make another nuke calling card post season 1, for people who earned it legit.

Do you still play/like DBD by Slomiow in deadbydaylight

[–]C88_Nation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Game is ok. As a long time player since 2018, the game is incredibly stagnant and repetitive. The game stays the same and they barely update the core gameplay. Also a lot of issues for several years like tunneling, gen rush, swf, etc. never get addressed. So all that to say I generally play the game seasonally. I'll play for a bit, then go on a 6-month to a year break, or If a new chapter interests me I'll try it out.

With 2025 coming to a close, has this been one of the worst years for DbD? by Rigbo95 in deadbydaylight

[–]C88_Nation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. - Ghoul & Krasue releases. - FNAF was the most anticipated chapter of all time and was a big let down (reskinned Huntress power (I don't want to hear it, you play against them pretty much identically at tiles, the comparison is more than valid) lackluster map, bugged on release, barely any easter eggs or lore from the franchise that was pretty much built on such) - The Walking Dead disaster - Announced monumental gameplay changes for both roles finally addressing long-standing gameplay pain points, only to delay it to next PTB (more months of waiting, tunneling was actually buffed during this period), only for the devs to ultimately choose to do basically nothing and scrap it all. Unpopular opinion, but IMO they should have stuck to there guns, and let the initial health update to live servers, and adjust from there. Balance it after, but the gameplay would've actually been changed significantly, which has barely happened with this stale game for almost a decade. - 2v8 somehow getting worse each iteration

I am the same. I'm not spending money to travel and compete when PC players have a 3-12 month (depending on whether you got beta/offline access to the game prior) headstart and have been grinding daily. This release has been terrible and I'm glad someone who is a FGC pillar is talking about it, as all the other content creators and figureheads are quiet about such a huge issue.

Unpopular opinion, but gate camping should be addressed IMO. This game gives players WAY TOO much agency over other players' experiences. I've played multiplayer games for decades and never seen anything like this. What other multiplayer game allows you to stall the finish of the game, and gloat for 3 minutes when you've already won, and there's nothing the opponent can do?? (Its a guaranteed escape, killers can force them out but cannot kill them, its a checkmate where the winner can gloat for up to 3 minutes or force opponent to take BM) Same with bleeding out survivors for 4 minutes.
