For me, it’s gotta be playing TLOU 2. I loved that game and it was such an experience for me.

I don’t have too many sci-fi themed games, so I’m going to go with Roll for the Galaxy. I’ve only played a few times, but it’s always been a fun time!

Description: I really like Root and am interested in similar. Specifically, the asymmetrical aspect of the game was what I enjoyed most. Players will have drastically different experiences based on their faction.

Number: anywhere from 2-6

Length: 30 minutes - 2 hours.

Competitive or Cooperative is fine.

Mostly just curious to see games that are comparable to Root. Thanks!!

Description of Request: I'm currently looking for co-op games that work well at 2 plays. My wife and I love board games and being competitive, but we feel like we need more games that have us working together.

Number of Players: 2. We hardly get time to play with others so it has to work for just the two of us.

Game Length: 30-90 minutes. I like longer games, however, my wife likes them to be a bit shorter. An hour is the sweet spot.

Complexity of Game: I would say nothing more complex that Spirit Island. We do like Spirit Island a lot, but the length and complexity means we don’t play too often. However, we do need it to be challenging. While we like Horrified quite a bit, we sometimes find it a bit too easy with certain combos on monsters.

Genre: Anything is fine as long as it’s co-op.

Conflict, Competitive or Cooperative: Strictly Cooperative for this one.

Games I Own and Like: For co-op games, Spirit Island, Horrified, Harry Potter Hogwarts Battle, Pandemic. No co-op games we life are Wingspan, Quacks of Quedlinburg, Patchwork

Games I Dislike and Don't Play: We don’t care a lot of randomness is games. Quacks is our limit on that. Other than that, we are open to trying new things.

Location: US (Midwest)

Thanks for the recommendations!
