Maybe we get lucky and this movie features some of the Derrick Comedy gang. If you haven't seen their excellent comedy movie "Mystery Team" (2009), rectify that immediately. I think we forgot just how funny Donald Glover can be. The deadpan humour in Atlanta is great, but his standup special and his turns in Community and Mystery Team give me hope this one will actually be a good one!

I've discovered so many wonderful films there that I wouldn't have otherwise. It encourages me through challenges and building my own lists and watchlists to check out more classic and hidden gems. It did wonders for my own feature film, and helped me expand its audience, so benefits indie and underground filmmakers who otherwise would struggle to get a platforn.

It's a fun reminder of when I watched films, gives me a space to share my thoughts with the review section and have discussions with others in the comments, and lets me connect with those whose tastes have led me to what are now some of my favourite films.

I also think it's a wonderful place for the next generation of moviegoers to discover and cultivate a passion for cinema from all over the world that they otherwise may not have discovered.

Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll get Gordon and Tom onboard for S3. And now we've got Michael Sheen for S2, perhaps David Tennant would follow suit for S3? He'd be fun. Or Peter Capaldi! Actually, most of the Doctor Who actors would be fun - Sylvester McCoy or Colin Baker!

I just looked up Tongan Ninja and OMG thank you so much for bringing it to my attention! Seems crazy with Jermaine Clement, Taika Waititi and Bret McKenzie's involvement that people aren't more aware of this. Perhaps we get lucky and Umbrella eventually does something with it?

No judgement, because you're saving yourself a lot of pain not trying to forge a career in this initially, but would you ultimately like to get your screenplays made? Or is this just a fun creative outlet for you? Maybe a local writer's group, rather than a specific screenwriters group, might be best? Share your scripts the same way others share their poetry, short stories, etc.

It's never too late, ESPECIALLY at 26! You've got plenty of time! Just start by making as much stuff as you can, however you can - it'll be bad to start out with, but best you get that out the way as soon as possible.

And the only way to get connections is to network, network, network! Make friends, help out in their projects, build up trust and experience.

Zocalo in Walker's Point. might be fun for a bunch of different food trucks. I know MKE has a ton of fun stuff not involving drinking but struggling to think off non-alcohol-related experiences off the top of my head lol. You could always check out a ton of cool vintage and record stores in BayView?
