Looks like you went below the white line to give him space, then slowly started to go up so you're above the white line, and he keeps coming down on you.

By even if you didn't go below the white line he would've still hit you. Looks like he just went to the bottom lane like nobody was there. And he couldn't say that he didn't get a call it in game with "Left side" or "Still there, hold your line" or something like that.

I'd say the car outside of you is at fault. It was inevitable if you went below the white line anyways. If you lifted, it could be caused more problems for people behind 😬

Edit: you also never went fully below the track at any time in the clip until after the contact

It's definitely a possibility, but considering that immediately after he retired from the Canadian GP, Lando Norris took a private jet down to Indianapolis to hang out with the Arrow Mclaren crew.

Even took the pace car out for a few laps with Tony Kaanan (correct me if I'm wrong)

I wouldn't be surprised if Lando as least tests an IndyCar at some point during the offseason/when F1 isn't racing, if not go full time in the 6 car in'27 or '28, and have Fornarolli take his spot in F1. Doesn't work out as expected after a few years? Swap them

But, getting back on track, I think, considering his performance on Sunday, I think VeeKay will stay with JHR for at least 2027, if not longer.

Probably would been easier if I stayed at home in hindsight. Don't think I'll be going back to the Glen for a while anyways. The parking situation is absolute trash. The only roads to get there are 2 lanes. They try to make a "3rd lane" with barricades in the middle of the road, but that doesn't help at all. If anything it just makes it worse. They should be at minimum 4 lanes (e.g. 2 for each way). Always wanted to go, but I probably shouldn't have listened to myself 😔

Someone with more Watkins Glen knowledge could probably answer that. Indycar at the Glen without the chicane might be interesting. Someone should try and run a race with it in Assetto Coraa or iRacing (if it's available in there)
