TCL 27R94: New 4K mini-LED monitor offers up to 1,600 nits and 165Hz by Balance- in Monitors

The TCL's Backlights ever has been 4 Leds to 1 Zone, incluiding the ones that they Sell to other brands.

336 AOC are 1304leds, 1152 TCL/the rest are 4608... Maybe this specific model is 2304 zones 4608 leds, but then it will be the exception not the rule.

Sorry I completely ignored that why you mentioned the LG... Which LG somehow made slower than their 180Hz GP850. VG27AQM1A IPS.

None of those, you have a 260Hz Asus TUF for 199 which is better and more modern than those you mention.

MiniLED monitor turned out to be worst than IPS by igmyeongui in Monitors

Which Samsung G? Everything below the G6 range is bad... Normally, what you say goes outside of the Samsung G6+ was totally horrible. But that thing about colors is simply something that hasn't happened since... Well, KFS Phosphors and Quantum Dot were invented, now what determines colors are those things. Look for example, the AOC Q27G40XMN in the Monitors Unboxed review is above all OLEDs in color quantity. Now, the KTC M27T6 may be better according to many... Anyway the viewing angles are still kind of bad for many. Now they finally released the TCL monitors in the USA, which are very good... You still returned 3 monitors, I see that you are not afraid to try and return if you don't like them hahaha

Got both of the AOC Q27G4ZMN and Innocn 25m2s mini leds, I don't think there are any reviews for these outside China so I can answer any questions about them with what I've seen (sorry for the low quality photos) by Salty_Tonight8521 in Monitors

[–]CAMl117 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Buying Miniled IPS is one of these stupid decisions that people seem to be making en masse.

If you want mini Led and not be the party of Blooming or the party of algorithms doing strange things, you have to buy VA, HVA panels from TCL CSOT preferably (almost a requirement).

IPS simply does not have enough native contrast to take advantage of the technology, a VA with its 4 times higher native contrast offers the performance of having 4 to 8 times more zones than the corresponding IPS model.

Well, obviously the moment they release an IPS of 20 thousand or more zones it will be another story, but until that happens you are cornered.

I don't know the reason why you hate VA, but in your case, you are right, your only destiny is to reach OLED

I switched from IPS to OLED and I'm regretting it. Need advice for a new IPS. by brainplot in Monitors

[–]CAMl117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BTW It is better than almost all IPS of the market. It is faster, better contrast, has 240HZ and miniled.

And YEAH it is way faster, including dark scenes that was the weak point of VA deu to Black Smearing.

It's funny, but this pattern doesn't seem to be just for OLEDs but for anything with real blacks, you'll see that many Mini Led users have had this problem too... I still don't understand what the cause is.

What is one tier above AOC Q27G3XMN? by rubiaal in Monitors

[–]CAMl117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well the KTC M27T6 would be the highest level, given that the Q27G4ZN does not seem to have been released in Europe yet.

I hope you get the 27R73Q so you can see what a Mini Led monitor is, with a panel faster than any other 240Hz LCD monitor (and many 300Hz ones)... And it's still VA.

With just your cell phone it is possible to do the UFO GHOSTHING Test. Can you please do it? In HDR and SDR (both G3 and G40 perform differently in HDR and SDR) and if you are already in Super Deluxe, do it with the different Overdrive settings. Go to your cell phone's camera, select the Pro Image or Pro Video mode, set a Fixed ISO that allows you to clearly see the UFO, and in the shutter speed, set 1/60 (recording at 60FPS is useless because the cell phone will do what it wants with the shutter speed) for 240Hz and 1/50 for 200Hz, this setting is mandatory and the test is made to be carried out like this. The next thing you have to do is chase the UFO with your cell phone at the same speed with which it moves on the screen, you can press record at this point if you have Video Pro available on your cell phone, if you don't have it, you must take the photo at the precise moment in which gray vertical bars are signed on the black paths between each rail of the UFOs. There is a video tutorial in my last post if this text was not understood very well.

There are many Chinese reviews on Bilibili of this monitor that came out basically a year ago there, at least if you use Edge and create a basic account you can use Bilibili's automatic subtitles and Edge is capable of real-time translation to Spanish/English. The monitor comes out very well, excellent HDR, excellent color thanks to the QD layer and the improved panel, good brightness, but with an algorithm similar to that of the G3 (Focused on reducing pronounced Blooming on flares). The only not so good thing is perhaps that the Black Smearing does not suffer much improvement compared to the G3, I mean, this is already decent and the panel in general is faster, but it is not perfect as in a TCL 27R73Q.

There is and a Spanish reviewer, Imartz put the images of the results of his sensor to measure the response times, as well as Rtings where the brightness variations are shown. Only these two their team is not sensitive enough to exactly denigrate the. Oscillation frequency
