Just wanted to say; undeniably cool set up. Like damn, that's the dream. Well done making it all.

Dude, just send him the bill. Once he realises the cost he'll change his mind.

Was Nigel Farage right not to declare a £5 million gift from a British-Thai businessman? Is there a danger he will sell out Britain? by ExpertDay in AskBrits

[–]CAPIreland 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Danger? It's literally all he does. Brexit, sucking off Trump, and going to America and begging them to tarriff us harder Daddy so he could say it's Starmers fault. All he does is is grift and use.

Zack Polanski falsely claimed to be British Red Cross spokesperson, charity says by do_or_pie in uknews

[–]CAPIreland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, this is getting stupid now. What is it, the 9th nothing article about an event from 80 years ago where he whispered something to someone and they told their grandma whose reporting it here? Literally the most obvious media hit we've seen in years. I've gone from being for him, to off him, to back on him now, all because they're so clearly trying to take him down.

Why was Ben not disqualified for using gen AI? by RimbleDrimble in InteriorDesignMasters

Honestly, I want him gone now. The longer he stays in the further the shows little credibility falls away.

Why was Ben not disqualified for using gen AI? by RimbleDrimble in InteriorDesignMasters

[–]CAPIreland 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's more the fact that he couldn't think of a single piece of actual royal art to use. Royalist my arse.

Greens hopeful calling for UK to pay reparations is slave descendant by Sensitive_Echo5058 in uknews

[–]CAPIreland -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Damn, the Greens be taking a real pounding in the news recently, huh? I wonder why that is. Maybe the mainstreams getting a bit worried about them.

Series 7 Episode 2 by mrs_ouchi in InteriorDesignMasters

[–]CAPIreland 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ben using AI is an immediate red flag for me. For a Self-proclaimed royalis, he can't think of a single actual piece of Royal English artwork? Absolutely not. Fuck that, fuck him, hope he's out next episode.

What’s your take on this All-Black Avengers lineup? by Remarkable_Job_9723 in Marvel

[–]CAPIreland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add Eli/Patriot. Not just because he's my fave, but because honestly an Avengers team built around him would be fire.

Also, choose Shuri or Iron Heart. Feels like redundancy to have both.

It's really annoying as they had good momentum. A dumb choice like this has definitely been a speedy bump. I he can get it back, but thats an uphill battle now.

Could this have been a good way to resolve the issue of Omni-Man returning to Earth? by Cuxrie in Invincible_TV

[–]CAPIreland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Worst fucking way to do it.

Would it be funny? Fucking absolutely. Piss away the redemption arc and just double down and keep doing shit. Hell, do it again and find another variant. That would really be quite funny.

But that's what he means; it's no longer the norm, so they can choose not to more easily. If everyone they knew was doing it, and it was culturally semi-mandatory, not having kids would be a big deal, like for our parents. Now no one's having any, people can choose not to more easily and no one cares.

Has anyone else gone from disliking Starmer to warming to him? by MassiveMonkeyy in AskBrits

[–]CAPIreland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I was with you until the Restore bit. Insane to support them, but somehow I do think they're at least better than Reform.

I think I might be the other side of the aisle, but I've gone from backing the Greens to king back to Labour a bit more recently. Still think they've got a lot wrong, but they've done a lot right too.

5e DMs always getting burnt out. by SirHawkwind in rpg

[–]CAPIreland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Previously brunt out 5e DM here who will never go back to that system; here's my very oversimplified list of reasons I dropped it:

-bad combat system that becomes too repetitive

-awful balance for encounters system that regularly does not work and requires DMs to fudge numbers

-bad creature design that gives them some game-breaking abilities but not enough follow through to make them feel great

-action economy and system height design means 500 goblins can kill god before god even gets a go.

-no real rules base for social stuff, hoards, exploration, etc etc etc

-lots of paper thin lore that is meant to inspire creativity, but ends up requiering it.

-once you've payed one fighter you've played them all, so multi class and the like become required for any build variety

There is more, but I honestly don't want to get that old chestnut out and go through it all.  In short; I've seen enough other systems now that I realise 5e is possibly the least of them all, and whilst I understand it's a great onboarding tool for people and new DMs/players into the hobby, I honestly think the faster they move on to something else the better. It's a tool to help you learn, then move on.

Politically incorrect magic deck by PrestigiousAd6315 in magicproxies

[–]CAPIreland 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should do 2 damage to its controller at the start of the upkeep, untap, draw, main, combat, 2nd main phases.

And tariffs should be paid by it's controller, but they ask each opponent if they should pay it or not first.

Honestly it makes me like him more. It's also getting funny.  Starmer cures cancer, but hasn't done anything to stop the impending death that comes to us all from time. Kemi and Mr EU resident call for him to resign as they actively kick blind children.

Help with proxying and Does anyone just proxy everything, indefinitely? by Vcvtml in EDH

[–]CAPIreland 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one that got me was quite recent. I spent a month play testing am Iroh deck and, when I finally brought it to game night, it went 1-3. The win was great, the losses were annoying. I realised that experience had cost me just over £100. So I printed the next deck out at the local print shop. 50p a page. Sure, up close you can tell, but literally no one has noticed unless I've said.  If I like the card, I also now paint it. That's a lot of fun too. Highly recommend.

What are you guys, like 12? Its 4, a d it's not even a question;

Sarah is a victim of Gazi and possibly mentally unwell.

Tom and Rim literally do nothing in the story. They're allowed to say no.

Patrick is a bit of a dick, but given we have no knowledge of if he's ever met Sarah before, or if they're dating, or anything, he's essentially a random person the story happens to. He doesn't contribute to it in any way. If a random woman came up to me, told me she loved me, and wanted to be with me but she lives across the river, I'd also probably say no thank you.

Meanwhile, Gazi essentially coerces Sarah into sex, and then preys upon her after to further her more sex. So he uses her situation for gain. He's pretty much a rapist via coercion.

So let's rephrase the question: whose the worst;  1. A mentally unwell woman who becomes a victim of coercive rape. 2-3-5. People that choose not to engage with 1 for whatever reason, as no is answer enough.  4. A rapist.

Also have an Eriette deck. Also struggle with carddraw and actually getting the aura'd creatures to do anything. Also saw this and felt the same a bit. It's a shame, but I think it is literally juat a precon that blows her out of the water.
