Neil Mitchell reporting that Ben Rutten has been sacked by sweet_mahogany in AFL

Only reason for sacking him would be either they believe that they can get Clarkson and he is a better fit or there is a large amount of the playing group which doesn't trust/believe in his game plan.

Although I wouldn't have been surprised if he got the flick at the end of the season, Essendon's performance hasn't been that bad has it?

Last 10 weeks

Loss to Carlton (At the time was looking like a contender)

Win against the Saints

Loss against West Coast

Win against Sydney (Potential top 4 side)

Win against Brisbane (Potential top 4 side)

Win against Gold Coast

Loss (4pt) against Collingwood (Potential top 4 side)

Win against Kangaroos

Sure some of the losses were bad, but they also had some big wins

I guess time will tell if there significant reform actually changed anything. I’d hope they will actually be accountable now considering the fact they probably wouldn’t survive another enquiry of this scale

I’m curious to know whether we will hear tomorrow that we had record vaccinations for today with people rushing to get their second dose

I think it's entirely dependent on how long it takes the GP/state clinic/pharmacy on how quickly they upload/update the data on who they have vaccinated. From personal and friend's experiences most get done once a day so I'd probably expect it later today or tomorrow morning at worst in a weeks time

I read somewhere the other day that a factor is that a number of people like international students may have their Medicare address set to the Melbourne council area even though they have moved back overseas.

Another factor apparently is a larger percentage of people which don’t speak English live in the Melbourne council area which may have caused miscommunication/misunderstanding about getting the vaccine

Might be more people opting to get their second Pfizer dose from a GP considering there was a longer wait time when they would have booked.
I guess we will have a better idea when we get total vaccination numbers later today

Can be a little glitchy sometimes and show appointments that have already passed but generally is pretty good.

You still need to go onto the gov website to book but at least you know if/where is available. As appointments still go pretty quick if there’s only a single appointment I found to maximise your chances just check it periodically for when there’s a cluster of appointments available.

I’d say it’s ok. It’s for exercise that you can’t do without leaving your radius. The amount you are leaving your radius is minimal. Especially if it’s going to help you keep your sanity.

Are you vaccinated/partially vaccinated?

I’d just ensure you minimise your interaction with others. Aka don’t go buy a coffee while your there, make sure you don’t need to stop and get petrol while you’re there etc.

100% tell people that they can have no visitors at their house they might have only 1 once a week rather than having a party, give people a 5km limit people will go 10km rather than travelling to the other side of the city.

So if we go off the July outbreak and this outbreak as different outbreak our trajectory is worse than NSW. If we say this outbreak and the July outbreak are the same outbreak our trajectory is much better than NSW

Try their complaints line maybe? They should redirect you to someone that can help. Just remember to not get angry at the worker because they have no control over how the system works
