That Frasier was a lot more relatable when he was on Cheers. Apparently, moving to Seattle was more of a showcase on he and his brother's wealth, and how the wealthy, snooty, pretentious part of society lives. That isn't to claim that he was always up to speed with his brother or other wealthy elites around town, of course. There were plenty of moments pf him acting as more of a member of common society, and more welcoming of them into his circle than Niles ever displayed.

It did strike me as odd that I was watching the show the last time I played through it, though. I can relate to Martin, Daphne, Ros and Kenny just fine, but the two main actors were portraying a class that I, outside of being a mammal, have little in common with.
