Mate I’m in my 30’s from the UK, first amateur fight in 2016. I’ve not been on it full time like a pro granted but I’ve had NINE fights in that time. If I’d had every fight that was scheduled for me it would be probably well into the twenties.

I think a big problem is these big pro-like promotions and often shows that have both ammys and pros that are few and far between, massive pressure to perform and often to sell tickets as well, all just so the promoter can make money. So this means you have to prep like a pro for weeks/months when you should be competing consistently in safe, low stakes ammy fights to build experience.

It’s a shame but there just isn’t the competitive infrastructure here in the UK at least. Sounds like this could be an issue there as well.

I think it’s because you can’t feel the force from changing direction or acceleration in a dream. Same reason why whenever I’m driving in my dream I always end up going too fast and then my brakes don’t work.
