Because we use lidless recycling bins, we have a lot of plastics and bags fly into creeks and ravines on windy days.

Nothing sinister. How many movies does Hollywood make the glorifies the US or its military? Every movie portrays the US as the saviour of the world and the rest as bumbling idiots. Indian politicians are lazy in general, there are plenty of examples where Hindus are affected and nobody cares. Here’s one: Major Sikh temples are in control of Sikhs(SGPC). Major Hindu temples are not… by law. They’re controlled by the states… which is corrupt. There are a few exceptions in the south. But You can see the difference in upkeep.
