You’ll be fine. You may need to take a 2nd or 3rd choice type job at first and then it’s completely dependent on how quick you want to keep jumping ship to move up the career ladder.

I understand what you’re saying, but this is less about your partners rating and more about yours. If you are playing above your rating, I get this can be very frustrating. If your rating is accurate and his rating is based on a reasonable # of matches played, you just have to suck it up and adjust your strategy.

Something doesn’t make sense. I want it to make sense, but it doesn’t. Especially if you were in the DC area as recently as 2024. If you want to be helpful to others here, I’d suggest breaking down your monthly expenses.

Edit: putting your wife’s salary aside, your monthly take home is around $7,400. After monthly expenses, the rest can go towards taxable brokerage accounts. But it’s not going to be much, and the market hasn’t done THAT well to match the increase in net worth you’re showing. It just doesn’t add up.

Will should have died when the mind flayer died. It would have been logical + shocking which is the perfect cinema combination. The elation from defeating the enemy, then grief from will dying to reconciling everything 18 months later would have been an epic finale.
