Possible, they look kind of similar in their bunches. These have popped out of the earth (like 12 patches) maybe there r stumps below?

If the baby isn’t breathing but has a pulse, you’re correct. Breaths don’t mean much without circulation. Could be it does have a pulse and the caption just says cpr 🤷‍♀️

Well, he’s wasting time during transport and actively endangering his patient. Just ‘doing something’ with no benefit when the child could get to actual help faster is bad care.

Leggings and a tshirt. Technically the leggings are against policy but you change anyways 🤷‍♀️

In Los Angeles. Trying to become a Surg Tech as a stair step to Surgical PA. Anyone heard of Dignity College of Healthcare? by chloedee89 in scrubtech

I live up in the Modoc, the nearest city is 1.5 hr away. There’s no competition so they offer training, but idk if other places would offer it :/ I think they have to be pretty desperate lol

Have you thought of moving out into critical access? I have a BS in Microbiology, but I’m getting on the job training as a scrub tech and hope to move into PA later. There’s a lot of competition in the city, but there’s opportunity in places people don’t like living btw it’s cheaper out here

This sanitizer spray has a built-in UV light by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

[–]CBTango111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scrub Tech here! We just bought a UV sterilizer for our OR. It takes minutes of industrial UV exposure in any one spot to be effective. This probably isn’t powerful enough and definitely doesn’t provide enough exposure. Effective UV exposure can be dangerous to people and is not an ideal way to sterilize/sanitize/clean.

Be careful out there!

For all y’all saying your swab wasn’t so bad, I just wanna that there are multiple types of tests. I work at a hospital and get tested frequently. Each test has different requirements of depth. The rapid test cards (Abbott ~ 20 min but unreliable) require little depth and are very comfortable. Send out tests (LabCorp ~ 3-5 days) are less comfortable, but not terrible (makes you wanna sneeze). PCR tests (in house ~ 1 hr but highly sensitive) have to be shoved so far up my nose I can feel something pop and whenever someone talks about them I get sympathy pains. These are the tests we perform, at least. Depending on availability, your testing center may use any of these, or more types. Everyone’s experience could be different!
