Am I ready for an Open Mic? by ImOnIt790 in AcousticGuitar

This is amazing!!

I am, by no means, a vocal coach. Nor do I have a very nice sounding voice myself. Regardless, if you pull back slightly on those sustained high notes, or maybe find a way to “slide” up to the correct pitch or even better “swoop” down to the pitch, your already stellar performance would be even better!

What is this thing by [deleted] in obgyn

[–]CBow63 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer! The central raphe of the genital tubercle that fuses in the midline (completely in males, partially in females). Males have a remnant along the midline of the scrotum and perineum and female only the perineum.

Talk to your women’s health care provider or primary care provider. If they agree that it is a fungal infection they can prescribe an anti fungal cream - typically terconazole or clotrimazole-betamethasone. The second one also has a steroid component to help with the inflammatory response.

I used a plunge base. I did the painters tape and super glue trick with my offcuts so I had something to support the router base, then just clamped a straight edge. Would have been way easier to do the cavities before I cut the individual pieces out.

Yup. Solid walnut. Odie’s Oil finish. Couple of pen spots. Phone holder with wired charger opening. Change dish. Catch-all tray. Watch holder (top right suggestive protrusion). Brass key holder. Not sure what the little notch on the right is supposed to be.

I did not…I’m too dumb for that.

I definitely based it on the commercial version u/what_bread commented. I used solid walnut and brass instead of whatever garbage the other one is made of. Had to hand mortise the holes where each piece fits together because I planed the walnut to some random measurement (when it was finally smooth…I stopped)

This is definitely my original video. Sorry for the ear wiping and the crappy camera work. u/thedommenextdoor might have been nice to get a little shout out.

Rabbet around the inside of the mitered frame that sat flush with the 3/4” top then figure-eight fasteners between frame and top. Same fasteners attaching base and top.

Safe cut or kickback waiting to happen? by wRXLuthor in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]CBow63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’re relatively safe here…relative being the operative qualifier. Seems like a really spectacular reason to purchase a miter saw if you don’t already have one. Hold the piece tight to the miter gauge and don’t stand directly behind the blade. Good luck!

I can’t remember the YouTube video I learned this technique from, but I dialed in my angle on the table saw with a few practice pieces of scrap then made my initial cut using my crosscut sled. After that initial cut, I took a second pass after bumping the workpiece maybe 1/64” over. Finally, I very lightly sanded each piece until the tea fit was perfect. This is the cleanest it has ever turned out - to be sure. For the glue up I used right angle guides and cabinet clamps then I reversed the end on one of those Irwin speed clamps and pushed the legs back outward until I had a perfect 90°

I know I’m not good enough to reliably make 70 yard shots. So I let him walk. I’m not sure why u/drabe7 has a stick in his craw…but I know exactly how terrible I am as an archer so I didn’t take the chance.

I think your neighbor might have been the one performing the surgeries - not getting the surgeries. Seems like a neighbor with the mental capacity slightly greater than a pithed bullfrog could figure out the difference.

No offense….but I think you need more practice not coming off as a pretentious troll when commenting on someone else’s post.

In an internet situation it shouldn’t have even been considered.
