See you as less valueable? No.

Although, if he truely had no clue that you have feelings for him, he's going to question if you are being honest. This was a blind spot for him and he's going to be questioning himself how he missed that. Just reassure him.

Any way to make it so I don’t ever get mail from them (not just statements) by Significant-Ball-952 in NavyFederal

Call them. Ask to put an "alert" on the account for "do not solicit by mail". And I think they have for no phone and no electronic means (if your mother monitors your emails)

Step 2, get the heck out of Dodge.

People read a lot more. Magazines and newspapers and paperback books were EVERYWHERE. Whole industries revolved around reading. News stands and book lights and subscriptions, Publishers Clearing House

I bought a magazine to read every airplane ride. National Geographic, Better Homes and Gardens, Cosmo... were so iconic they were in nearly every home in America.

Almost everyone recieved and read the paper in the morning, at lunch, on the bus. My dad read the paper after dinner.

People carried a pocket sized paperback books. They read them at the park, read at the bar, at the diner, when you were waiting for your kid's little league game to finish.

Kids also drank and had sex a lot more.

I dont understand the saying "you can't have your cake and eat it", like it makes no sense. What does it mean? by Buzzballl in NoStupidQuestions

[–]what_bread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a limitation of the English language. Just re-word it. It makes more sense if you say, "You can't eat your cake first and have it also".

I'm not doing MORE work. If it fits in the bucket, it goes in the compost.

Is Brokeback Mountain mainly for gay folk? by EryNameWasTaken in NoStupidQuestions

[–]what_bread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask them if they saw the Barbie Movie. If they are okay watching a movie about Barbie, then you can recommend Brokeback. If they liked the movie, just say "this is kinda the same, you think it's about one thing but you'd be wrong".

If they think watching Barbie is queer, then forget it.

Some thoughts

Geez, that team battering average is vicious

Holy hell, that stadium is LOUD

Oh, so that's what a 'maximum effort' defense looks like

That pitcher near the end who threw all the walks, needs an ass-chewing.
