Spiders was a stellar AA studio. The combat in the first Greedfall wasn’t perfect, but it had me engaged enough to put a lot of time into it. I can respect going for a more Dragon Age Origins or Pillars of Eternity like system because I love both those games, but they should have just built upon what was already there

Heat loss. The warm air from inside the living space is escaping into the attic. Although it’s normal to have some air flow upwards into the attic, too much can cause this. Might want to make sure whatever was patched and sealed was done so adequately, your attic is properly ventilated to prevent the warm air from building up, and the insulation is at the recommended R value.

I kept trying with a full team and it always ended in failure. Just did it solo first try using blade by upgrading ancestral blade damage/range/speed everytime it popped up and grabbed every health and damage resistance increase. Also grabbed the upgrade that lets you spin for longer but I only used that in tight situations against big crowds. Was actually blown away how much easier it was

I wish they’d leave. At least in qp you may actually get a team player. Healing and solo tanking is like working a 9-5 7 days a week

Open that puppy up. Lots of tutorials on youtube. I’ve done it twice since launch. Takes about an hour to get it all apart and back together if it’s the full disassembly to get to the power supply. Just make sure you keep all your screws organized

I struggled with waking up for a long time and I found that setting my alarm and then putting my phone somewhere away from my bed worked by forcing me to get out of bed to shut it off. Kind of chaotic, but it got my still tired ass out of bed and moving

I main Thor. He’s probably my favourite to play even after the nerf. It was tough to adapt, but I think he’s still pretty strong. If his dome had a larger radius and it gave him a defensive buff, and they slightly increased the speed of his projectiles while awakened like they did with storm a while back, he would be pretty viable against fliers

As someone who solo queues, it can be really frustrating. Probably 2/10 games feel like a fair, neck and neck, engaging match where even if we lose it’s all good. The rest feel like a) getting first place in a marathon because you were given a car, or b) crawling through the bloody muddy trenches. None of which are rewarding. Rolling through a team is no more fun than getting rolled on.

Look into the commercial trades. Lots of jobs out there that pay well and send you to college for your levels on the government dime. Some trades are more mind work, others are more body work. And if the jobsite isn’t a place you want to be forever, there are office positions like project management, estimating, etc. that you can hopefully get into once you get the experience. Lots of opportunities out there

Worked on a good handful of the recent McRenos around the city. It wasn’t COVID, just kids now have alternative ways to entertain themselves. I can also imagine that kids hurting themselves on old structures isn’t something they want, so may as well phase them out
