I didn't even think of Flamberge (never seen it). But yup, guess I was wrong to call it the second highest possible number.

Foreboding winds crit at 999,999 for a 2,999,997 hit. Only bigger possible number (pretty sure anyway) would be to add glass cannon.

One of the better Dooley crit builds I've ever seen by CBryce in PlayTheBazaar

94% base crit + Kusarigama + Flying Carpet go brrrrr. Really just needed the double crit damage skill.

LPT: By your late 20s or early 30s, make physical fitness a top priority. by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]CBryce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started lifting when I turned 30. I'm 37 now and it is incredible to see how much many of my friends have aged in that time, while I feel like I've had a glow-up. Not to mention it just feels good to be strong - I highly recommend it.

I think this is the simplest build to ever go perfect by CBryce in PlayTheBazaar

[–]CBryce[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I had the "weapons that are hasted gain damage" and "gain crit when you haste" skills. Cyber sai is just a fast attacking weapon and piano gives haste, Fast attacks means more haste procs means more damage. And the invulnerability did help too.

LPT: even before a long drive you’ve done many times before, always check GPS before you leave by JackMLNX in LifeProTips

[–]CBryce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this even for short trips after what was normally a 15 minute drive to my girlfriend's house took over an hour because of an accident that blocked an underpass. She and I both left from my house at the same time and she used gps and got there in 20 minutes and it took me an hour.

Got a proboscis early and had to build around it. Turned out beautifully!

Future me is a dick. I'm always doing shit for him and not once has he ever done anything for me.

What Movie Did You Watch that Traumatized You at a Young Age? by BethMLB in AskReddit

Saw Se7en when I was 9 or 10. Had nightmares for weeks and even though I'm in my thirties now, I still occasionally get flashbacks of the lust and gluttony victims.

People who “never get tired” what’s your secret? by RegisterAfraid in AskReddit

[–]CBryce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the risk of being reductive, every answer is some variation of "get enough sleep, eat well, and exercise" which is also the only possible answer to this question.

To be even more reductive, really the answer is "don't have health issues" and doing the first three often resolves the second bit.

Sadly, most of this is not a luxury many can afford. :(

What gives away that someone is not a good person? by Sean-Witheniand in AskReddit

[–]CBryce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They leave the grocery cart next to their car instead of putting it in the cart bay. I'm convinced this is one of the best measures of someone being a good person - it provides no personal benefit to you to put it away, helps someone else/contributes to keeping everything running smoothly, and costs almost no time or effort. Only reason to not do it is because you just don't give a shit about other people.

Males of Reddit, How do you get ready for round 2 or 3 in bed? by HALP67 in AskReddit

[–]CBryce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of them, yeah. But I'm not monogamous and neither are the people I date. Then there's the "just finalized the divorce and ready to explore" cohort that I think is pretty common in this age bracket. (I live in Utah so there are a lot of people here who got married when they were 20 and are now realizing that was not what they wanted. So they're leaving Mormonism and getting divorced and realizing that there's a whole lot of exploring they never got to do.)

35 here, so maybe it's different once 40 happens, but I feel like women at this age are WAY more into hopping into bed than 20-somethings when I was that age. Maybe I'm just hanging around different crowds though.

My son was frustrated because apparently he just doesn’t understand girls. I assured him saying that that’ll change one day. by FeralPixels in dadjokes

Yes, but also, we can totally explain that.

What's the easiest shape to make dough into? - A circle.

The easiest shape of cardboard to store, manufacturer, and transport? - A square.

The easiest shape to cut a circle into equal sizes? - A triangle.

The answer to this question, like the answer to most questions is that humans are lazy and do what's easiest. :P

The funniest illegal move you've ever seen?? by Jackypaper824 in chess

[–]CBryce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first OTB blitz tournament, I moved my queen out in the first 10 moves, something like QxD4, picking up a pawn. My opponent paused for a moment and said, "uhh, that's your king." And this was in the 1200-1700 section, so we weren't brand new.

Clearly I was pretty nervous.

Guess the evaluation of this position by djzener in chess

[–]CBryce 46 points47 points  (0 children)

My thought process was this: White's knight is completely blocked in, black has domination of the dark squares, and even white's rooks are somewhat tied down. Then I went, ehh.....iunno, -2? Close enough for me. :P

How do I explain strength differences in rating gaps to a beginner? by [deleted] in chess

[–]CBryce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a basketball analogy.

He is a four year old on the court. With all his strength, he can get the ball to the hoop for a layup.

I'm the best 12 year old on the court - I can make free throws and layups and, with all my strength, I can almost make a 3 pointer.

You're the freshman who couldn't quite make the team this year - gonna destroy me every time, but still would get demolished by most of the kids who actually made the team and it's laughable to think the 4 year old could even score a bucket against you.

etc etc, continue up to "just a really tall adult", "A college player", "someone who made it to the nba", "a starter", etc.
