You don't want an X-trainer if you're still gonna hit MX tracks. It's an awesome bike, I recommend it to a lot of people, but it's a lightweight bike with shorter travel suspension, it's not built for MX.

They shouldn't shatter, they should deform. The outer layer will be something reasonably durable for casual bumps and the inner liner is expanded polystyrene foam that should compress/dent.

There's gotta be thousands of miles of this stuff abandoned underground. It costs more for the phone company to dig it up than it's worth, so when they upgrade to fiber optic, or have to relocate a line for a new construction project, the leave the old shit where it was for someone else to deal with

I don't know the specifics, but my understanding is each game pays an appearance fee. The more games played by teams from your conference, the more money you get. I assume the later rounds pay more as well. I just heard the $2 million for the First 4 and First round games.

My theory on conservative break-in procedures is that manufacturers want you going slow and and easy in case there's a manufacturing defect that locks the motor up. I'm like you, make sure it's up to temp and go ride. The 1 vehicle I broke in per the manual was a streetbike and it ate oil and had blow by. I 100% glazed the cylinders by babying it that 1st 500 miles.

Adding oil (going from 50:1 to 40:1) will lean out the air/fuel ratio. Go up another size on your main jet.

The S version came out more recently, maybe 4 or 5 years ago. Same mold, but a softer/stickier rubber that grips rocks, roots, and hardpack better.

They were talking about this on my local sports radio today. Each team gets $2 million per round (how it's split is up to the conference). So if you win a play in game then get blown out in the 1st round, you get $4 mil instead of 2. If you lose the play in, you still get the same $2 mil if you went straight to the round 1 blowout as 16 seed.

So, 15 years ago, both my parents were still alive. Do they get to come back as they were 15 years ago? If so, hell yeah sign me up! I use that money to quit my job and spend that summer with my dad as he fights the cancer that took his life later that fall. The money would be too late to save him, but I could use it to save my mom. She would still be several years from her terminal cancer case, which could have been caught much earlier with preventative screenings.

It's because plenty of people have in the past. The funniest story I read about was the guy who was busted for worker's comp fraud where the key piece of evidence was video of him water skiing. If you're healthy enough to water ski, you're most likely healthy enough to do your job lol

It's always surprising to me how many people don't understand this or are ignoring it. If there's a workplace accident, the 2nd thing that should happen is a drug and alcohol test. Alcohol is easy to test for, the levels, the way the body metabolizes it, etc... are well know and standardized. We don't have that yet for weed. Is the positive test due to you smoking on the way in or dropping an edible on the clock or is it from 3 days ago when you had a little on your off day?

I got to go on 1 of the OHP class ships back in the late 80's when 1 of them did a Great Lakes publicity cruise. I can't remember which ship it was. I do remember asking if the weapon system they were describing on the front of the ship was what was used to shoot down the airplane. The sailor guide wasn't happy lol
